slngsht Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Just came back from watching it in 3D. It is an amazing movie. All the hype is justified. And it was STILL sold out
MHKflyer52 Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Mazda, Great license plate you have there.
WestTexasS2K Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I went with low expectations and came away very surprised. I was disappointed when it was over after 3 hours.
Mondo Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I figured it must be pretty good as the time flew by.... did feel like a bit of a perv checking on the skimpy top of the avatar;)
shiva Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I figured it must be pretty good as the time flew by.... did feel like a bit of a perv checking on the skimpy top of the avatar;) I was wondering why my brother's 12 year old kid said it was his favorite movie! After going and seeing it, now I know!
lambobuilder Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Saw it at the IMAX/3D sunday after it came out. 9 of us went. Loved it. Plan on going again next weekend.
Hank Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Finally saw it last night in 3D. I rate a movie on how many times I yawn while I watch it. The less yawns, the better the movie. Definitely a zero yawner, although I felt one coming on in the beginning hour or so! Sigourney Weaver is aging quite gracefully, isn't she?
7evin Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 It was the most believable animation I have ever seen, I had to keep telling myself it wasn't real. Even the way the eyes moved when expressing emotion was increadable. I normally do not like 3d movies, But this really needs to be seen in 3d.
Spaz Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 I went to see it two nights ago. It was a good time. Mondo your sick haha.
scannon Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 I saw it in 3D and IMAX a couple of weeks ago and loved it. However I experienced a bit of headache and nausea during and after the movie. Last night on the TV news there was a segment on Avatar and other 3D movies causing those very symptoms in about 10% of the people surveyed. Probable cause is less than 20/20 vision in both eyes (corrected). I guess that means I need to get an eye exam and new lenses. I plan to see it again whether or not I get new glasses.
