Kitcat Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 (edited) Just listed on Lotustalk.com. $38K, Duratec w/205 hp at the wheels. Under "Cars for sale (Not Lotus)". Beautiful paint, etc. California car. Edited January 26, 2011 by Kitcat
Croc Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Here is the link: http://www.lotustalk.com/forums/f162/2003-caterham-sv-w-duratech-engine-california-registered-97088/ Well....as someone unenthusiastically trying to sell an SV, I will say that the seller has keenly priced it below mine. For the spec, this is the best SV deal (bar one) that has been available in the last 4 years based on the SV sales I have tracked. Ignore my ad and jump on this one. Off to revise my ad's asking price I think...:leaving:
Hank Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I will never understand how someone tries to sell a $38,000 car on the internet with just one picture. :toetap05:
Boxologist Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 same car that the sevens mailing listserv spoke of last night/this morning.
supersportsp Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 I would have bought this in a second had it been available at this price back when I bought my car. Nice spec, low miles and great price.
Spaz Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 (edited) Boxologist -YES http://www.flickr.com/photos/moloko0velocet/5387935141/in/set-72157625780312871/ Here is the link to 4 pictures of Paul's car. Edited January 26, 2011 by Spaz
LongTimeLurker Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 None of the on-line photos recently do this car justice. I saw the new photos a few years back. It is stunning. The color of the paint is stunning, and i don't really like blue. Also of note, it was assembled be a former Caterham dealer so it is most likely bolted together pretty well. I am 6'1" all in my legs and had to pull the seat forward in another of his SV's. If you are long or fat this may be your only chance at happiness. Man, I wish I still had the income that I had in '06 when I missed it by a night.
11Budlite Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Nice looking car and it sure looks like a deal with the Duratec motor.
Croc Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Go on Bruce...you have to buy it...you know Nancy wants a heater in the Seven! A bit more space never goes astray. No more frost bite coming back from NJ Seven drive days... I will even drop my price if you prefer yellow....:seeya:
supersportsp Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 I sent the seller an email yesterday via his Craigslist ad. No response yet. The ad is still active as of a few minutes ago.

And the only way I'd need a heater is if I trade in Nancy on a younger model!!
S1Steve Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 Mike - I do like the color combo on your car better! And the only way I'd need a heater is if I trade in Nancy on a younger model!! No Way !!!!! You trade in Nancy, Betsy will never go on a blat with us again !!!!!
11Budlite Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 No Way !!!!! You trade in Nancy, Betsy will never go on a blat with us again !!!!! Steve - Tell Betsy not to worry. I just looked in the mirror and realized no one younger than Nancy would be interested in an old fart like me. In fact, I can't believe she's still interested! OK, back on topic......
pst Posted February 5, 2011 Posted February 5, 2011 Hey folks, I'm around. If I didn't respond, my apologies. I've got more pictures up on the ad and a lot more detailed pictures, just didn't want to clutter up the ad. Paul
soareyes Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 According to his ad on Lotus Talk, the car sold in February.
