hr-k Posted June 16, 2011 Share Posted June 16, 2011 The event was great! I attended my first hillclimb with Locost 7. The scenery, arrangements, support from locals, new people, all were great. I will for sure return. The course was 2.2 mile and quite rough. The surface was grainy and there were lots of bumps and washboard, couple tightening corners and very intimidating in general, being two lane mountain road with rocks, trees and armco. The event was two days and I got 13 timed runs, some people got more, depending how early one went to queue in. hr-k Posted June 23, 2011 Share Posted June 23, 2011 Bruce, Yes you need to have SCCA Time Trial license, class 4. You can run with Competition license and in this event they honored NASA competition or Time trial licenses. We did a promotional video with my seven and couple of chase cars for SCCA to use promoting these climbs.
