I've used it a bit...

Haven't used it lately though. I put some seat time in one of the Miatas at our local track, and started getting a decent handle on the car. Then I did a software update and the car was undriveable compared to before... I haven't played much with it after that.

Here's one of my best laps, followed by totaling the car.

I see you went to the Boxologist School of Driving Miatas! :jester:

Croc I do not think Mazda did that as Boxologist School of Driving just teaches how to keep from flipping his Miata when departing the road into a field. :driving: :jester:

Nonsense. Boxologist has graduated so is able to demonstrate great skill in hitting any auto-x cone plus make a Miata soar through the air and land safely mostly unscathed. Now rookie Slngsht here managed to get airborne but up-ended his Miata from a simple tail out spin. Pathetic freshman display of skill. I think Slngsht failed "Introductory Trashing Your Miata 101."

Hi Jon! :seeya: :D

Sadly I'll have to run a Windows emulator on my Mac to run Iracing. I have been looking into it a bit though. In another car forum I belong to, we run a weekly challenge for points in Gran Turismo 5 though. It keeps a bit of the rust off during the winter.

Last year a bunch of us purchased the Obbuto racing chair as we got a spectacular deal from the Canadian distributor.

Has anyone out there used the iRacing simulation software? They don't have a Caterham and I think it's an outrage!

I'm desperate to hone my driving skills this winter so I can keep up with Tom and Croc.

Tried it for 3 months and while its good and I loved the MX5 I couldnt be botherd with the grind up to the better classes, I love multiplayer racing and im current playing WMD Project C.A.R.S which is in the alpha stage of tesing at the moment and waiting for the multiplayer component to come into the game, they have a Caterham R500 Supersport in at the moment with a Caterham classic coming next along with a load of other cool cars which I love to drive.

Anyone can access the alpha test as you buy a tool pack that allows you to get access to the test gget the whole game FREE once its published.

Still a long way before the title goes gold and a lot of testing to be done in the game but I have had my $60 euros worth allready and get a full version when its complete.
