southwind25
posted on ebay after 9 months of unsuccessful sale. Our beloved Birkin s3. In perfect shape everything is ready and 100%. Reserve is set at 17k, we are taking a 10k loss on the car unless bid goes higher. Robert Kansa 330-714-3740
Hettric
Hope you didn't make a listing mistake - there is no reserve listed at the current bid of $12,469.
soareyes
Looks like it might work out ok without a reserve - already at $15,100 with 33 bids and 3 days to go. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lotus-Super-Seven-Birkin-S3-Birkin-7-S3-Caterham-Lotus-super-7-/330772356029?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item4d03919bbd
JimmyHilton
Robert has a sale on his Birkin. The Birkin is coming to TX. Still trying to figure whether to drive, or transport. I was seriously hunting a Caterham, but figure this will be a good launch into a Se7en. Can't wait!! ps: Robert has a Zetec that was to come with the car. I don't want, or need, it. So please contact Robert if you have an interest in it. Edited August 8, 2012 by JimmyHilton

Kitcat
What was sales price (I might have to raise what I am asking for mine:))? JH-Looks like you got a great car. Robert expended much time/love making that car just right.

JimmyHilton
I have a line on an engine, that was partly my choice of this car. It is from a friend of my Dads that used to be the Lotus Dealer (50's-70's) in Dallas. I don't yet know (and he can't remember) if it is a twink or a BD?. So I get to go help clean out his warehouse, and there is quite a bit I'll likely want (valve grinding, seat cutting, knurling, dizzy setup, NOS 7 bonnet, and etc). JimmyHilton
Anxiety is killing me ..... Pebble Beach has all transport on the left coast. Still probably 2 weeks away from p/u. If the car was actually titled, I'd have made the journey. Edited August 24, 2012 by JimmyHilton
Kitcat
I think Southwind's 7 was titled in Ohio. And, if so, you can get a temporary tag from Ohio and drive it home.
sevenup
I live in Ohio and was interested in southwinds car a few months back, but as I remember he never did get the car titled. That was one of the reasons I did not investigate it further.
JimmyHilton
It sounds as if InterCity will finally p/u the 7 Tomorrow, or Sat. I never knew me to be this patient, but will likely have to be again to get titled and plated in TX. Custom Vehicle, as a Replica '67 Lotus 7, sounds to be the way to go in TX. If anyone has experience with the new Mar/12 law, I'd love to know! Jimmy
