Cost for a turn key like this?

The website shows $38k for a regular classic styled LS V8 turnkey.

Add a little extra for the M Spec suspension enhancements and the website says you are at $40k.

Pretty good value for what it offers. I suspect the price above is for a base LS putting out about 300hp - so the only sensible conclusion would be to up the engine spec to something like 500hp. I am sure that would add $5-10k to the cost but definitely be worth it as it would nicely offset the modest weight penalty that comes with a Stalker over say a Birkin/Westfield or Caterham.

That's definately a lot of performance for the dollar.

The back end looks better in the video than the picks... not crazy about the front light set up. But man, that's got to be a great suspension/power set up!

I've got to get over there and check out their cars. I'm across the state from them so it's only a 2-1/2 hour ride. I would think the LS7 like I have in my Z06 would make a nice package. Crate engine is around $14K so the difference between the LS1 and that should be around $8K. LS9 would be nice too, about the same price as a Cosworth 260 hp engine. GM engines are now about as bullet proof as any engine I have ever see. Ford engines are great too but they're physically huge with the OHC design. I saw the 5.4L Triton motor sitting on a pallet and thought it must have been a 10L engine by its size.

I really like the styling of the rear wings incorporated into the body and how it flows. Front lights are a little weird but small is good, less drag. Really nice package for $38K or thereabouts.

All the suspension, engine, brakes, steering refinements are available with the Classic Stalker look too.

Gotta get by there and test run an Mspec one of these days.

Wow. So you can get the IRS in the classic Stalker also?

I don't think you could call it a Classic Stalker. It would be an Mspec which has all the new technolgy but with a traditional (Classic) seven look. It is an Mspec, just a different body style.

They do still sell the original Classic Stalker.

Cool. Thanks for the reply. I like the looks of the traditional Super Stalker better than the Spec-M. It would be neat to be able to get all of the new enhancements with the Classic Super Stalker look.

The best part is that with either, if you need a part you can go to Napa or Advanced Autoarts etc.. and pick up most of the parts you may need, for the Stalkers. I see you are in Auburndale, I'm in the Tampa area, if you ever get over here and want to check a classic Stalker out and go for a ride, let me know, I would be happy to share the fun. My wife and I autocross ours quite a bit.

Thanks for the offer! I was at the old Brunton shop a couple of years ago and Scott gave me a ride in one of his Super Stalker supercharged V6 cars. I have been a Factory Five replica Cobra fan for many years which lead me to find out about these Super Stalker cars. I have also watched your You Tube videos of both you and your wife driving. Looks like a lot of fun!

Thanks again,

Mark
