yellowss7
Skip you are right, the car looks very well cared for and Looks like he ticked almost every box on the options list. Looks like a bargain for that price. Just don't let Kitcat buy it. He'll break it for sure. ;>) tom

7veloce
A very nice car. I know the owner and the previous owner. The seller is very meticulous with his cars. bball7754
As a Crossflow owner with identical specs (244 cam, roller rockers, etc.), I'm just wondering how you managed to get 1700 HP from it. scannon
If it really had 1,700 HP I would have already bought it. I'm assuming the HP stands for High Performance.
7veloce
If it really had 1,700 HP I would have already bought it. I'm assuming the HP stands for High Performance. Skip, You are correct. HP=High Performance Engine=150 HP. 1700 HP will be too much to handle .
scannon
Skip, You are correct. HP=High Performance Engine=150 HP. 1700 HP will be too much to handle . Ah, but think of the power to weight ratio. That would be about 1.4 HP per pound (instead of pounds per HP). As I like to say, too much horsepower is just about right. :jester:

Kitcat
I wonder how many (any?) newer Caterhams than this were equipped with this engine? In other words, is it the last Kent engined Caterham to come off the assembly line, so to speak? If so, that mite add some value?
Ian7
... is it the last Kent engined Caterham to come off the assembly line, so to speak? If so, that mite add some value? Could be, or close. FWIW, Caterham told me they sold me the last cross-flow chassis back in 2002, but then again, they told me a few things that turned out to be ....optimistic lets say. Ian7
Sorry, sold it 2 years ago when I moved down here, EPA wouldn't let me bring it in from Canada. Left all the paperwork with the buyer, who may still lurk here, he used to.....
