Nightmare with the CT DMV

The Caterham I bought last August was titled and registered in Conn. in 2000 through 2012, it had bumpers on it but no other changes, so Sergeant inspector is wrong. I still have the bumpers but mine is a S3 so I don't know if they will fit.

 

I just last week received my sticker in MA. after 9 months of fighting so I feel your pain. The Montana option is illegal in MA.

Might consider Arkansas; no inspections required.

For that matter, FL is a great state for registering a car - all manner of automotive disasters get registered there, including V8 golf carts, Zimmers, drivable BBQ grills, etc.

 

FWIW Sabbot's Caterham on this forum is also an ex-CT car.

 

But we should all remember that these forums are public and they have been read by at least one state DMV as I found out to my frustration and embarrassment once. Lesson learned from my side.
