Certified Lotus
I figured my Exige S has enough Lotus DNA that you'll let me post this video here. [/url]
yellowss7
Will somebody please sell Glen a Caterham. He's been driving that big, fat, heavy lotus for so long that he's forgotten what a lightweight sports car really handles like. Come on in Glen, you know you are a 7 guy at heart. :seeya: Tom
Certified Lotus
Tom, I've gone from my "heavy" 2000lb Exige S to a Lotus Kart. It weighs 170lbs, wet. ;-) One day I'll work my way up to a 7.
Croc
Glen - I think I just have to put you in my seven for a session at NJMP - that will seal the purchase!
Klasik-69
That is a great video, very well done, and some very good driving as well. I sure wish I could make a video like that but I'd need someone on the side of the track taking some of the out-of-car shooting. I really like the way you even had your buddy shoot video of your car from behind. Very professional. Only one little critique..................anybody but the Rolling Stones. :smash: How about Simon & Garfunkel...........slip sliding away ! That one sweeper looks like a 270 degree turn/curve, looks like it goes on forever and I bet really tests your patience to hang in and not get too eager. Fun looking track. yellowss7
Put it on your calendar for next June and come on up and join us. I'm sure that we can convince Glen to do a video of us if he's not racing carts. Tom

However, this is my last year in SCCA TT events so next year my schedule will be a lot more open and I may well do the event with you guys (with permission of course). Maybe Croc can show me where NOT to put the mic when I do a video. My videos look like:deadhorse:and sound like:nopity:
xcarguy
My videos look like:deadhorse:and sound like:nopity: That's :smilielol5: I'm glad I'm not the only one having mic issues. I can't seem to find a good spot for mine either.

I thought about sticking it up my butt. That way, road noise would be completely muffled and well, my emotions would not be :jester:. Someone mentioned puting the mic in the engine compartment. I never tried that but I will. I also thought about puting the mic under the dash, not sure how well that would pick up the exhaust noise and not the road noise. Sticking it inside the muffler would seem the best place, not sure if Olympus would warranty the mic in that location.

During my last track day, I placed the mic underneath the dash feeling sure this placement would 'do the trick'. And off I went for six twenty-minute sessions. That night, when I got home, I realized that realized that I had never turned on the mic! ARRRGGGG!!!!! :cuss: My mic wasn't up me arse, but something else was. :svengo:
