MNlotus
My ITB wore out and needs to be replaced, where can i find a new one? The motor is a 2.0L Zetec. I took a few pics of it as well.
JohnCh
The air horns look like TWM Induction pieces and the fuel pressure regulator looks like it might say TWM Induction, so that's my guess for the Throttle Bodies. They were acquired by Borla a while back, but still make all the components. -John
yellowss7
If you mean your ITG foam air Filter. I used these guys and was very satisfied. http://www.coastfab.com/contact%20us.html I believe it was Gary who helped me size mine correctly. JohnCh
DOH! I thought he meant Individual Throttle Bodies (ITB) and perhaps the bushings were wearing out. -John
xflow7
Woah, Coast Fab., there's a blast from the past. I remember ordering all of the AN hardware for our FSAE cars from them way back in 95 and 96. They were great - glad to see they're still going. Now someone just needs to recommend contacting Dillsburg Aero for some chromoly tubing.
Jackal
I'm running Jenvey ITB's. They are another option if a full swap is needed. http://www.jenvey.co.uk/home/throttle-body-kits/jenvey-dynamics/ford-zetec-tbp45-throttle-body-kit-ckfd03
MNlotus
I meant i need the whole ITB setup, i should have made that more clear. ^^ that ITB looks very nice, Would it be a direct replacement?
Jackal
Hmmm. Direct replacement for the one you have, I'm not sure. There may be the odd part that needs moving or adapting, but for my application it was a direct fit. You need to specify the manifold that levels the ITB's if you go for the whole set up. I would guess that the manifold you have has a pretty standard shape and bolt patern.
tio pancho
How do you wear out an ITB?
MoPho
I am not sure what you mean by worn out, but I have the same throttle bodies and I had them rebuilt by TWM a few years ago after they started sticking. I believe it cost around $115 with shipping. They have since been bought by Borla, so not sure if they still offer the service. .
Klasik-69
You're running the same ITB's I am and as stated, they are available from the Borla/TWM center in Kentucky. If you're keeping your old injectors, you can ask them for the unit w/o injectors. How do you wear out ITB's ?

As the shaft that the spring loaded butterfly valves are attached to rotates in the brass or bronze bushing in the throttle body housing, it tends to wear one side of the bushing out. Tom Are the return spring and the throttle cable both pulling to the same side? I have seen carburetors set up like that wear out also.

Tom Ok, you may want to ask if the shafts and bushings are available as service parts. If so, it has to be a whole lot cheaper than replacing the entire ITB unit. I know they sell the injectors separately as well as the fuel rail. Or you may want to ask if they have a rebuild service whereby you send them the entire ITB unit and they refurbish all needed items.
