WestTexasS2K
WOW that bug was pretty quick.
Croc
Not surprising how slow the Bug was to pull out of low speed corners. As you expect the Subie just powered out with AWD and a bunch of torque. But what was stunning was the Bug was so much quicker at high speed elements of the stage. I have never associated a Beetle with high speed competitiveness (let alone handling). I guess the Dak Dak was not stock?
Kitcat
The bug was a total handful, the Subie so much more stable. It was like the bug driver kept tricking it into staying on the road (barely). Switch drivers and I suspect the Sub comes out way ahead?

Good Heavens, Croc, don't you remember Herbie from the sixties? :smilielol5:
speedwagon
I have a fiberglass buggy, ugly as sin but with a 1835 with a vnt 25 turbo and 33x14.5 diggers. it is quick and handles quite well at the speeds a 7 can work at and on a gravel road will 4 wheel drift with ease, actually more fun to drive than the S1 and you get a lot more respect on the freeway. and I am competent with it while out of my element in the S1, a short cut through the ditch is also on the table. Post a photo or two; love to see it . . . . . and don't worry about the 'ugly'.
