RGTorque
i would be interested in this except that all the cars are slightly different. also many second/third hand cars have modifications that were not "factory" spec.
xcarguy
. . . . . all the cars are slightly different. also many second/third hand cars have modifications that were not "factory" spec. Differences aside, this will still be an excellent asset for Ultralite owners; one man's repair/upgrade sparks another man's idea.
WestTexasS2K
Bruce it will be a great start and something that needed to be done for 12 years. Thanks for your hard work on it. It will be a good resource for owners even though no two cars exact they are close enough to be valuable info. I'm am not good a technical writer which is painfully obvious by my other rambling post. If I were to write a manual no one would be able to understand it. So send me a copy to my email I think you have it.
Mondo
I agree that while there are differences, think of it as different year models. There have been a lot of mods to make the cars more bullet proof (luckily it's all chassis stuff as the drivetrain has been awesome). I look forward to seeing all the mods in 7evin's engine bay if he gets on board... it's the origami of engine bays;)
Bruce K
i would be interested in this except that all the cars are slightly different. also many second/third hand cars have modifications that were not "factory" spec. thanks, lorren. lots of different contributors. manual is now up to about 70 pages. evilromeo, though each s2k is unique and bespoke, they are also a lot like human beings - individuals, but each more alike than different. trans tunnel repair, differential cross bracing, anti-surge fuel tanks, oil accumulators, upgrading heim joints and links - these and many other issues are common to all 80+ extant s2k's. there is also a developing "general info and history" section that makes good perusing, with lots of great pix. lorren - it's time you built a few more! you have a website, soon you will have a workable manual - now go and get some more customers!!
