GunshipDriver
I've seen a few on various roadsters and wanted to ask what you all have possibly used that works well for a Lotus Seven clone. I am not sure if I can commit to anything at this point and am considering using a suction RAM mount to hold a rear view mirror that would be functional and easily adjustable/removable.... xcarguy
Used this with success on my Birkin. However, with the Ultralight cowl/hood being one unit, you may run into vibration issues (I truly don't know). An option would be to come up with an L-bracket of sorts that mounts directly to the dash and the mirror base mounted to the bracket: https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=11174
mrmustang
In my last Birkin (not yet on my current one) I used a simple AC Cobra replica mirror http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-13525187779972_2268_121900384 http://www.cobranda.com/corevimi.html
MightyMike
I really like the Sector 111 micro-mirror. Installed on my Birkin (sold) and Storker. Normally, this mirror hangs from the topside of the Elise or Exige, so I had to fabricate a new base to make it fit on the scuttle. http://i59.tinypic.com/24uzs47.jpg http://i62.tinypic.com/20ua2it.jpg http://www.sector111.com/parts/interior/accessories/micromirror.cfm

That is what I want... or rather what I want at the moment. It is I believe the same that I saw used on the Factory Five race cars here in these links: http://www.jeepingoffroad.com/factory_five_challenge_car.htm http://boothmanracing.com/car.htm https://www.factoryfive.com/whats-new/factory-five-818r-competes-in-2013-ultimate-track-car-challenge/ I still need to really decide on the exterior aesthetics... more track inspired or old school GT. I do also like the other suggestions offered that are less conspicuous... Many thanks all around! :hurray:
xcarguy
MightyMike, Your photos didn't show up earlier for me in the post; hence the reason for my posting your link. Gunship, Glad that'll work.
