  2. 6 cyl Stalker listed in Wacko, Texas. Obviously, the photos are from another part of the world. Titled, but without some street equipment. Built engine rather than a tired one. http://waco.craigslist.org/cto/5866773794.html
  3. Another Seven on BAT auctions. This makes the second 7 in a few weeks. BAR might yet become a good value gauge? Ussually seem high to me, now that they concentrate on their auction. http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1988-caterham-super-7/ 1988 Caterham http://13252-presscdn-0-94.pagely.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Hartman_161015_0829-940x549.jpg
  4. Mike Its the same Caterham I have been using for years over in UK and Europe for Silverstone, Spa Francorchamps, Dijon, Magny Cours, Angelsey, Donington, Brands Hatch, etc. I suppose I may as well stop reading this thread. Now I shall be depressed for a week. Have fun. Cheers, Mark
  5. Only 6 days left to run up the bid. http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1959-lotus7-series-one/
  6. First time I saw one of these, I was so impressed. Something a bit different for you track rats. http://bringatrailer.com/listing/mallock-mk-17-u2/ http://13252-presscdn-0-94.pagely.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/2010-01-01-00.00.00-67-1-940x705.jpg
  7. No doubt Croc knows someone "over there" to check it out. Put together a group. Bob's your uncle!
  8. Croc, have a great time in Italy. The red '63 Lotus was interesting. That Talbot Jr. must give a really marvelous view of the RR fender!
  9. A nice Bifkin: http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/5702197906.html Yet another Birkin on BaT. We love our Birkins: http://bringatrailer.com/listing/2001-birkin-s3/
  10. Croc said: 2016 Lotus 7 race car - interesting details. Ecoboost is an interesting modern engine choice. I find it a little strange that you are bidding on a production slot for a car order instead of a real car? I guess the shop needs the cashflow to fund the production? Many interesting details when you study the photos - definitely worth a closer look of the link. Well, it looks interesting, but a visit to the link was depressing. Web site 1/4 done. Photos of the same car (out in the weeds) and some bunch of sedans, and financing? Scarry. Wish all start-ups well.

  12. Croc, If your invite to NJ includes air freight for the Birkin, from Dallas, I'm there! Your schedule made me tired just reading it.
  13. Where are the pithy remarks? I guess we can let you slide just this once, Croc.
  14. Regarding this last one: Another on Bringatrailer today http://bringatrailer.com/2016/06/20/...uper-seven-s2/ This gives me pause. It really looks original, but says replica, with no kit brand mentioned. (How long since anyone did a home built replica with a flat seat?) It made me think how easy it is to fence a stolen Seven, Just register it as a replica in your state. It really only entails going back and forth to the DMV until they are satisfied. Steal a Caterham (God forbid a Lotus), sell it as a Birkin or home built, etc. Am I paranoid or is it just my shady back ground?
  15. Not sure if this is the same one as Croc has above, but at least there is a photo: https://denver.craigslist.org/cto/5643318395.html By the way, Croc, on this one - https://akroncanton.craigslist.org/cto/5637612251.html , you really should warn a brother to put on the safety glasses before looking.
  16. And a Birkin in New Mexico: http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/5570900537.html
  17. Cassandra, Do take Mike up on his offer. I doubt you can find a better counselor. If you are in the DFW area, we have several Birkin folks.
  18. Blue Westfield: Right-hand drive, with 5,758 documented miles, 1600 CROSS FLOW ENGINE with Twin DELLORTO -40 CARBS, 4 speed manual trans, 4 new Tires, new clutch with receipt, includes wet weather gear, and full tonneau cover, well sorted, low mileage car, Adjustable coil overs, disc front drum rear, short throw shifter, Remote oil cooler, full Boot box finished with carpet, Westfield logo on seats, grill, shifter and horn button.. Have copies of UK MOT's back to 2007. Some cracking on the front of hood sides, small bubbles on right side front fender. Could use a carpet cleaning. http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/cto/5529005762.html I didn''t look it up, but I'll bet it's in the Houston area, not Dallas. Don't see a Texas plate.
  19. I believe this was listed here before, but now there are a couple interesting photos. Side curtain, tonneau cover... http://easttexas.craigslist.org/cto/5411767782.html
  20. What about that exhaust? I hope there are some baffles in there.
  21. Croc, Glad you're back. Apparently the rest of us are too lazy to use a bot to plow through the whole interweb thing. Re: "Don't know why this has not sold as it is a solid spec and looks to be in decent condition - I guess potential buyers don't like purple?" I knew a guy trying to sell a 289 Cobra, in its original color, brown. Couldn't sell it, Couldn't sell it... Sprayed it red and upped the price $10,000 (back in the days of $50k) SOLD immediately.
  22. Interesting South African on ebay. Ad says Lexus 4 L. engine, but what transmission? Ad says 5 spd. maunual, and it looks like an H pattern lever, but what is with the paddles? The L & R sides apear to be joined. Interesting indeed.
