Love the nose art, as the fly boys called it. -
Aero was recently discussed in another thread. Here's an interesting article: American racing legend Dan Gurney long advocated for cars with little downforce, extreme horsepower, and wide tires to really put performance in the hands of drivers rather than aerodynamicists. Former Indy driver J.R. Hildebrand recently brought the idea forward with a thorough analysis of what such a low-downforce, open-wheel race car could be. It’s worth a look. https://click.member.hagerty.com/?qs=eyJkZWtJZCI6Ijk3Zjk2NDU3LTgzNzYtNGMzNC1iYTQxLTQ4OGNmZGY1MjVkZCIsImRla1ZlcnNpb24iOjEsIml2IjoiZFhhMThFeFpxVzFhMkZWK1kzTmJ2UT09IiwiY2lwaGVyVGV4dCI6IkVyTktJZnY2bEZoOCtvbVJ2YkhQZGtNOUtKa0VXNCtlb0d0bUcyOEhtM1pWcmE1N055eEQxdmRJSWx1b0hPQU45Mm1VOE95cHJZVGZvOVBQRDRXOHV6RnVhM0Z2VVlrZGRYYTE4RXhacVcxYTJGVitZM05idlE9PSIsImF1dGhUYWciOiIzNlBUencrRnZMc3hibXR4YjFHSkhRPT0ifQ%3D%3D

I sometimes wonder, will there ever be a year when we do not need any NEW LAWS? Surely we have almost enough? Give the people a rest. Free the left lane! -

Nice job on the boat. What do you think it weighs? Or should I ask how much water it displaces?

I thought Zyrtec was funny and you played it on purpose. -
Yes, BMW Gina concept. Those that have not seen an explanation should look it up. Very interesting study.

Wow. I thought I had a Mini with flares once, but those are some flares!

Scott, Cardboard? How about some shellacked cloth? Loke a bi-wing plane not much older than an original Seven. Easy to repair a tear (not dent) and any design you like.

Something out of the ordinary, very well done. https://click.member.hagerty.com/?qs=eyJkZWtJZCI6IjNjMGFkOTVjLTllYTYtNGIxNS05MTQ2LTZkN2VhNTNhYmNiNSIsImRla1ZlcnNpb24iOjEsIml2IjoiTGxsQ0VBdkw0V3preXVBcTRVdkQwZz09IiwiY2lwaGVyVGV4dCI6Ik8xMG4wVVYrOEZEZlJ6czkxR1JKcnNZcENqb3hBbGdkVnJkcndkcG0reXdDMVo1MkRNUXFmQ0dkVWt6NHFldW5SQituWFdjRWN3Q1M0VFZNV0E5YXF6c3ErRUJFV0poaUxsbENFQXZMNFd6a3l1QXE0VXZEMGc9PSIsImF1dGhUYWciOiJrdUUxVEZnUFdxczdLdmhBUkZpWVlnPT0ifQ%3D%3D

Re @Croc 's point #6. A friend was mechanic on a Can Am car in the old days. Big (early)aero. The driver routinely took a curve at say 100 mph. He did a cool down lap and had an off at 70. -

Is that the whispered about...Cat Kong? -
For a Fly & Tow, I don't see using rental truck and rental trailer. Cheaper to hire it out. Of course a bit depends on what the car is and it's value. At least three times I just rented a one way truck and carried the car inside. No good tie down points, so I used lumber nailed to block and brace the car. Load and unload at any near-by shop with a ramp type lift. Think muffler shop. Also used tilt bed tow truck. Easy. Don't think I told the rental folks the cargo. Any how, if you can stand an open carrier, hiring out will be cheaper, unless the flight is required for the deal.

If you do improvements to the car, the value would seem to go up. Hagerty let me raise the agreed upon value 10%/year a couple times. No questions. Just said value was up and they adjusted the premium.

Well done.
