  1. Yep, two in front is more stable. Think about hard braking into a turn. I did some design work on a 3-wheel reverse trike a few years ago. The intent was to offer a kit electric using 10 Optima yellow top batteries. Front suspension was from a big Yamaha quad. My design predated the Aptera and looked a bit like it. And who is Vicky Verka? Is she related to Virginia Pipeline?
  2. I considered the MEV trike before I decided to buy a Westfield. http://exomotive.com/tr1ke/ The basic kit is rather low priced.
  3. It's a relative newcomer, but there's also the Exmotive Exocet. http://exomotive.com/exocet/ It looks like it had some design inputs from the Ariel Atom.
  4. I guess this is the thread for introductions. I'm here because I have a Westfield kit on order, and I'm already deep into stripping and refurbing the '97 Miata donor car. In the past I owned an Elan +2 that I did a lot of restoration work on, and professionally I worked for the company that turned an Esprit body shell into a wetsub for the James Bond Movie. I arrived after that project was done, but I did a bit of work on following Bond movie subs, and I became good friends with the folks who did the Lotus work. The lead engineer on that project drove a Europa Series 1. Back to more relevant stuff. I paid my deposit for the Westfield in August, and ship date was supposed to have been last week. I don't have confirmation from Flyin' Miata that it has in fact shipped. This puts me a bit behind MPG in schedule. Mine is also red with black cycle fenders. I'm living in the CA desert now, but the company I work for is relocating to West TX, so I will most likely be registering it there. Dan
