  1. Anyone wanting a custom 7s trialer made give me a call. I will build open top or enclosed. If you have a design in mind let me know and see what we can work out.
  2. Bell makes nice one but they are on the more expensive side I have a G force that I like pretty well but it is one of the cheaper helmets. I would pick up a GrassRoots Motorsports rag. There is all kinds of adds in there. It will give you an idea of what to look for.
  3. If the helmet is tight in the cheek area you can order different thickness pads for the cheeks. Us with a fuller more round face may need thinner pads. They are usually very inexpensive around 15-20.00. Or you can do like I dd remove the check pad pull of the matrial. It is just glued on. Take a razor and remove some foam and reassemble. Takes about 15 min tops. If I were you and buying a helmet for car use I would avoid the motorcycle helmets for track use. some sanctioning bodies will let you use them others require an SA rated hat. So if your going to spend the money might as well get the SA from the start and avoid being disqualified from the event for an M rated helmet. I know been there and done that. I will say that my motorcycle helmet has way less wind noise. I use it on long travel legs and then the SA for the track.
  4. The SuperStalkers are really fast and fun cars. I dont think you will be disappointed with the purchase. Since you are in the Dallas area you should come out to the Sevens Festival in Oct. We are joing a car show then Autocross on Sunday morning. I am sure there will be some Stalkers there plus you get to visit with other 7 enthusiast it is alot of fun. I believe that there is a message in the events section about it. If not PM me and I will get you the details.
  5. I have had luck ordering online using the manufacturing directions on how to measure your head. The two helmets I bought have fit well.
  6. Well the Engine is turning at 11k but the driveshaft is much slower. I am not sure what the final drive on the Busa engine is but I bet it is no more than 2500rpm. Still a bit scary since it right beside you. How much power does a turbo Busa make I have seen 280 to 400 depending on boost and tuning? At those levels they should move along pretty well.
  7. Ok I am cleaning out the shop and have several set of tires that need to go. Most have alot of life left in them. WE buy 6 new tires every year for one lap plus my original set of Falken RT 615. They are all 225/45/17 and 255/40/17 up for sale. I put on ebay but will end an auction early for a member if you are interested. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=001&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=110153648027&rd=1[/url] http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=001&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=110153649959&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=001&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=110153652503&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=001&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=110153653572&rd=1

  9. Well that was a dissappointing show but we had a few flashes of the car in there. The overall story was poor. They had all the tracks crossed up and left out most of the interesting stuff in my opionon. But thats TV I guess.
  10. The cars look really nicely detailed. I bet your proud of your fleet. You will have to bring that monster to Run and Gun at Gateway International raceway Oct 11-13. It is an absolute blast and should be attended if possible. You get alot of track time and get to visist with like minded gear heads. It is alot of fun. http://www.runngun.net
  11. Just a reminder to watch CMT for the story on the Cannonball Run this year. Check your listings for time. It should be in the evening.
  12. Welcome aboard I love those BEC. I want one! I might have to build a Locost from scratch and put in a Busa or a ZX14.
  13. Towing trailer with a seven isn't bad at all. You figure most of the drive trains in our cars are made to move cars twice the weight. So you can tote a trailer as big as a seven without much problem. I like the one from behind where you cant see the car. It got alot of comments from the truckers http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/719964467_oloa-2006-06sr2002.jpghttp://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1478972360_misc 124.jpg
  14. Sorry missed the part where you said you havent seen it yet. I would start low and let them counter with another price. I ofter start at 250 when I am buying cars like that. Most of the time they just want to get rid of it. Good luck and send us some pics of your barn find.
  15. Count me in Jerry. We will get old mojo pieced back together again, retune the shocks throw same slicks at it and see if we can get int he 1.04 range. I think my fastest last year was a 1.09 and some change but slicks and a few more hoofs should get me down there. I better put more brake pads on too. That turn one is scary with bad brakes. Hope we have more 7s there than cobras. If so maybe a 7 will make it on the T shirts for a change.
  16. Well it has taken a little longer to finish than expected but put about 30 hours in the last 2 days and got it finsihed so it can go to its new owner. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1616878623_DSC01578.JPGhttp://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/105966779_DSC01579.JPGhttp://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/338267050_DSC01580.JPGhttp://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/740551413_DSC01581.JPG
  17. I assume you have pics because I am not sure what it is you found.
  18. Good luck guys. Kevin is excited to go I wish I could come in person to cheer you on, but Texas is a long drive to VIR to do a bunch of clapping. There is some pretty serious hardware showing up. I think there are about 6 1 Lap Cars going and they were all they 10 cars. They made us look slow on a few tracks so be prepared for some stiff competition. Keep the shiny side up and most of all have a blast you lucky dogs.
  19. Oh well better make mileage about 34k then  Last count I had about 2100 miles of track time. Kitcat is laying down some good mileage too. That is what makes a LSIS so much fun. Drive it to the track, abuse it, and drive it home most of the time. I hope I never find myself without one.
  20. I guess you can say that, 9k miles were with a 12' trailer toted at 80 mph in 13 days.
  21. At a tic over 12k in 16 months.
  22. RDROCKET I think I would have to agree that the rebound needs to be adjusted a bit to keep that wheel down. He could have hit the curb we will have to see if we have some other pics to veryify if that is the problem or not. Since my shocks are not adustable do you have any advice on how much it should be softened.
