  3. When Farley was in business there wasn't too much he couldn't do to a xflow. Depends on how deep your pockets were. But I hear he is down cruising the Caribbean in a sail boat now. Russ
  4. I doubt there is a lot of interest in Xflows in the US of A. Too old school. There is a lot on the Locost Builders UK site. Russ
  5. I have a warmed over 1600 xflow in my locost. Set up by Curtis Farley (Of formula Ford fame) just before he retired.
  6. Wow, what an event Chris put on. He had 3 Locosts, 3 very fast Goblins, 1 Stalker, 1 Caterham, 1 Jag XKE, 1 Corvette, and 1 diesel Rabbit/Golf that drove faster than I could drive. We drove several hundred miles on some very nice roads. We ate a lot of delicious food. And had a great time talking shop. Thank you again, Chris, for a wonderful time. Russ ps: the Caterham was from St Louis so Powerbrake you need to get with this guy
  7. Nice looking. You should come to our gathering in Jeff City, Mo June 8-10. You can get lots of build tips there. Russ

  10. Thanks to Charlie I got my questions answered. Thanks again Charlie. Russ
  11. My 7 has a Ford Xflow 771M motor. Basically the same as a 711M block. I'm trying to put a electric fuel pump in it and would like to have an oil pressure safety switch to act as a safety shutoff in case of an accident. Trouble is the block oil port is under the intake manifold and a real PITA to get to. On the opposite side of the block, towards the rear of the motor is a bolt in the block. Could I put the oil pressure switch in that port? Russ
  12. Damn!!!!!!!!! That Drakan is nice. I bet it goes a lot higher than $42k
  13. I carry an old rain cover from a garage sale two man pop up tent. They usually have several elastic straps with tiny hooks on them to use for attachment. Cheap as chips.
  14. Avoid scissor lifts imho. Great for changing tires but in the way for anything underneath the car. Russ
  15. Pics from the show. http://www.heartlandallbritish.com/index.html
  16. We try to have events once a year. Usually mid May to mid June. We've held them in mid and southern Missouri, Northern Arkansas, and even Oklahoma. Yes, there are curvy roads in northeast Oklahoma!!!!!!! Russ
  17. Come join us down in Jeff City on the 19th of May
  18. I've seen Tom's collection. It is to die for. Plus his garage/shop is over the top. God I miss Alaska!!!!!!!
  19. Gathering is less than 2 months away. Please let me know if you will be joining. A sample of the roads we will be driving and more to come. https://youtu.be/YfpQyGT2ptQ
  20. Mr Mark, I don't know which one I like best but that Norton in drop dead gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!! Russ
  21. Yes there will be trailer parking. They will decide where soon. It will be posted on the website when they do. Russ
  22. BlakeJ, now that's what I wish I had!!!! Does it attach to the ceiling also? Russ
  23. I've had my se7en on Skip's lift. I loved it. I wish I had gotten one like his but no room in my garage for it. I got a scissor lift instead. I HATE IT!!!!. Would not recommend one. Everything is in the way when you want to work under the car. Most se7ens will not drive over the lift (because of ground clearance) without making double 2x8 ramps the entire length of the car. Great for working on tires but that is about it. Russ
