  1. I managed to make this uhaul work Would like better options however
  2. This thing is local to me :lurk:
  3. Awesome. Thanks for sharing! As I found out recently on the FB group I'll share my new knowledge > Your hood might not lined up too well once closed/latched on the front. It will "bow out" at the mounts. That's "normal". My $.02
  4. Reply to other threads? :willy_nilly:
  5. Glad to see another north eastern owner!
  6. Ah fair enough. CC or SBFS? Potential buyers would like to know I'm sure. Also pictures?
  7. I'm going to go offtopic here but why did you have an S5/SV cover if you have an S3? I'm currently debating between light duty and split heavy duty versions on softbits for sevens. Split is probably the one that makes more sense to use with the Aeroscreen.
  8. If only it was S3 glws
  9. This was listed back in December and for some reason didn't get sold/finalized for ~$24k. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1967-Lotus-Super-Seven-/223271043680?hash=item33fbfdc260%3Ag%3AM1YAAOSwgyZcByhd&vxp=mtr&nma=true&si=brpTbqOPNMsahtRM15zW6rXQK%252Bg%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  10. Thats my ad. Not sure who Karl is, but I wouldn't be surprised if you knew the original owner http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=15018&stc=1
  11. Let me know if we can agree on the front lights. I'm about to put toget a CC parts order and will order them from them directly with my order if not from you.
  12. Everybody will be asking you for pictures so might as well nip that in the butt and post some up. People will be asking you about title as it will matter quite a bit the background on it. Bringatrailer might be your best bet for something like that with your desired reserve. It would put most eyes possible on such a unique project. Good luck with the sale.
  13. Are those 5 3/4 in headlights? Willing to separate headlights from taillights?
  14. That Jubilee is quite something
  15. This is essentially a 360R or even a 400R. All it needs is the aero piece and maybe a few other small bits and pieces to make it "right" for you. Price will be around ~25,000 when finished. Certainly makes it more reasonable to afford vs the $45k figure. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2002-caterham-super-seven-2/
  16. I'm going to try my damn best to attend. Have to get some kinks out but I'm scheduling days off and penciling this in. I'll be coming from Albany area, NY. If anybody wants to Convoy down, let me know!
  17. http://www.midatlanticcaterham.com/ Does anybody know if they shut down or just IT issues? I've been contemplating on the squeal kit and the skid plate.
  18. Don't sell yourself short and give yourself too little credit. Myself and I'm sure plenty others look forward to updates to this thread on the regular. Whether we already have one and are just curious about others for sale or somebody is a potential buyer as using your thread as the ultimate "7 for sale" reference guide that it is. My join date might be recent but I've been a lurker of this thread and forum for years.
  19. I agree. The car would have done much better with both seats in and probably one single color. I was surprised to see reserve over $30k as it didn't seem like the owner was hard out for money and he just wanted to let go of the car to make room in the collection. Thats far too much money to put into it and not drive it, and yet keep it. I paid considerably less for my Zetec and it came with extra goodies and its an SLR. To each his own though. I also wouldn't own 150 cars. My 13in problem got resolved with some 888r's that I managed to source. Still debating on ordering another set and holding on to it so I don't run into another sourcing problem 5 years down the road. Not the ideal tire but it does in a pinch. I still have way less than 1000 miles under my belt with the car I got earlier this year. It came with original tires to begin with from 2001, wasn't going to push those very hard.
  20. Makes me wonder what the reserve was or how close it got to it. I would say that 40K is very close to the price ceiling that car would see.
  21. http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=14832&stc=1 I also have the small bend somewhere that I had to cut but that should be an easy match. I think these might be the pictures that match by googling them online http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=14833&stc=1 http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=14834&stc=1
  22. I did that as well. If anybody needs Zetec part #'s I can help with that.
  23. I would like to point out that I recently realized that my tail lights are "backwards". I don't believe they've ever been replaced or taken apart (messing with a lost power for one now) Surprised nobody has ever pointed that out yet.
