Not certain on that regard. The place I linked was one of the few that I saw that do all glass not just for cars but for home and business as well. Assumption with that is that they can cut any size and any thickness, while auto places are likely to order made units instead of doing cuts. Best bet is to give a quick call, tell them you have a flat piece of glass you'd like cut for a European car and see if they can match it if you bring it in. They will either say yes to having that capability or no. If you find a place and discussion that works, please update us here because there's a number of members that are interested in same service and wondering what it costs. I never use my windshield but long term it likely needs a replacement as well. Its all sorts of pitted (thats why I tried to order two). If youd like width measurement I can measure my cracked unit thickness next time I'm at the storage location.

UK is right for not shipping to US. I've had a pro distributor try to ship me two and they both showed up destroyed (one replacement for the other). If you want heating element in it still you need to go OEM If you just want a piece of glass (I dont think you need windshield heat in AZ) any local glass place should be able to cut you one with little fuss. You just have to pop open your windshield apart to give them something to trace/use as reference. The Regular Summary of Classified Ads of Se7ens Found For Sale

Is that SV? -
Yeah "real" machines are solid, I certainly don't need for a pro grade for a rare occasional use. Definitely wanted to run the test to help partition out misc issues I have. If one isn't cycling right I'd rather find this out from the getgo than chase a tail around for a while. I know one of my cylinders runs colder than the rest and this has moved from cylinder to cylinder looking back at the thread and the pictures. Hard to pinpoint exactly what has caused it to move with all the changes I've done overtime. Maybe I'm overthinking this. 2021 - cylinder 4 I believe it's on cylinder 2 now. I'll double check next time I run it.

No stateside options as far as I know, but dealers might have something in stock. Be careful as they come in different lengths. Ask me how I found out. Powder/ceramic coat is a reasonable option and what I've been doing. Theres a one off carbon fiber one I've seen in Japan and I was hoping either they would make more or somebody stateside would want to make one.

Roll bar padding for the street and Half Hood quandary
Vovchandr replied to Reiver's topic in General Sevens Discussion
With the harnesses and my height I don't see any situation where my head would be at risk hitting the bars. And If the car is bending in such a way that my head is making contact, padding will have a negligible impact at that point. -

I like that worse. ^

I like the style on the first one (top left) ^ with the overlap.

I believe the 50mm set is standard TWM/Borla that was installed throughout the dealerships in US for this spec. Mine is the same set so was the other set sold here recently and what others have on their cars. Whether right or wrong this was SOP.

Could you possibly make it dark black and add the roll bar? I think the black would cut through nicer with the overlap. I can dig it though so far. I see you've done the lower mount 5 3/4 headlights

I think thats an improvement. But I do think it should face right. That seems more natural.

I personally liked this outline but I also think the cage and the headlight addition work good Here's a VERY simple draft mod to your draft that I'm keen on I'd like for the cage to not interfere with letters but can't think of a good way for that.

I'd have to look back through my thread There's a very drastic difference between a reliability of a new build and something that's 25 years old now and saw seldom use For me some of the problem areas and what I keep on hand now Throttle cables (keep a spare) Generally things coming lose (keep a ton of tools in the bacK) Old plastic connectors/unions for hoses Compressed CO2 air kit to fix a tire in a pinch Volt meter to troubleshoot misc electrical Lithium jumper pack Cyclewings glue or mounts fail every track day Even made a small compilations of failures for one year as an Insta post https://www.instagram.com/p/CJea92tJrL1/?hl=en&img_index=1

At this time. Even after all the discussion I'm not anywhere closer to figuring out what the plan is for the Zetec to get in more peppy. Supercharger is still the likely option. At this time luckily I'm happy with engine regardless and glad I'm sorting out the tune and will keep messing with it as time allows.
