  1. unbelievable
  2. no upgrades... I thought my old radiator which had a repaired leak had given up the ghost. Just finished putting a new one in, with all new brackets, hoses, etc... Fired the car up, and as soon as she warmed up, I realized it's the water pump that's leaking. :banghead:
  3. When we had the FSAE car at school, for new drivers, we had an extension to the stop bolt for the throttle. Not as high tech, but got the job done.
  4. It's going to be nice here too. Finally found a few minutes to touch the car again. Radiator mounted, new coolant tank in place. Have to go fetch a Tee fitting for the heater core bypass to finish the setup and get the car back on the road again.
  5. :flag:May he rest in peace
  6. gauges are a distraction anyway. LOL
  7. no, not worth 46K, but still beautiful, in a 10K kinda way
  8. Awww man, that's beautiful
  9. not digging the unibrow
  10. very interested in this... i might be doing a private track day at the local drag strip this winter to see what she can do. of course cold temps do not help the traction situation.
  11. Yeah, once he mentioned E85, I understood the challenge. Way back in the day we ran M85 in a couple of cars... those pumps did not live long.
  12. remember, they're cutting the revs short 1100 rpm right now too.
  13. nope, they have wobbly gears. these don't wobble.
  14. I didn't realize you were running E85. whole different ball game
  15. last minute changes are always stressful. couple of comments... first, is the nose cone top secret or can we see a picture of it. second, seems like even 500hp is not a crazy amount of power, so there should be plenty of off the shelf pumps capable of supplying enough fuel. Do you know how many gallons per hour you need?
  16. nicely done
  17. anyone else having a problem?
  18. i've seen a couple of these and always come away super impressed.

  20. as others said, something much more basic is wrong... aero aids hardly have any impact at normal highway speeds. Check for play in suspension, alignment, etc...

  22. According to this, that engine weighs 449 lbs. http://mustangs.about.com/od/modelyearprofiles/a/ecoboost-ford.htm EcoBoost Weight Specs EcoBoost versus other Ford engines: 3.5L V6 PFI 405 .lbs 3.5L V6 EcoBoost 449 .lbs Mod V8s 525-550 .lbs 6.2L V8 590 .lbs That's heavier than a normally aspirated LS3 crate motor - 415 lbs, complete with packing, not including the actual wooden crate.
