  1. Do you know why 6 was afraid of 7?
  2. mine fell off my car
  3. Steve just left the house. I think Frankn7 can only be taken in small doses Couple of pics:
  4. heh, so confusing... Steve is the owner of Old Yellow now, and he'll be here in half an hour to pick up a dzus fastener that he needs. While he is here, I'll take him for a spin in Frankn7
  5. cool. Exhaust looks good. Old Yellow will get to meet Frankn7 tonight - or what's left of Rotus #1
  6. Scott, I have power steering sitting in the garage, but figured I'd give the bigger wheel a try first.
  7. The orange machine is a $60 harbor freight pipe bender being used as a stand. The jig on top is to keep the axle true and prevent warping I believe. Square wheels... easier to hold????
  8. I had an 11" dia wheel John. Way too small given the gravitational challenges of my car. It was OK on the road, and in the garage (on smooth concrete), but very stiff at parking speed. Also, at autox I think it hurt my ability to make quick moves...
  9. what is yours? I just bolted on a 14" wheel to try... wow! power steering
  10. manik, that thing is a beauty. I love the little doors in the fenders (I assume for reducing lift).
  11. yup, I hate waiting.
  12. what's there now and what's wrong with it?
  13. back when I was reading up on rotaries, premixing was the preferred practice. using the metering system did not seem to properly distribute the oil from what I recall reading.
  14. ...and after a short time I ran out of bait. Then I saw a cotton-mouth water moccasin snake with a frog in his mouth. Frogs are good bass bait. Knowing the snake couldn't bite me with the frog in his mouth I grabbed him right behind the head, took the frog, and put it in my bait bucket. Now the dilemma was how to release the snake without getting bit. So, I grabbed my bottle of Jack Daniels and poured a little whiskey in its mouth. His eyes rolled back, he went limp. I released him into the lake without incident and carried on fishing using the frog. A little later, I felt a nudge on my foot. There was that same snake with two frogs in his mouth.
  15. damn... can't leave this place for a couple of hours  BusaNostra and MoPho, can you guys duke it out in PM? I don't want to keep locking threads and deleting posts. Please?
  16. Thank you guys. I did drive frankn7 last night, but with temps at 101 today, it's just a bit much. Maybe I'll fire her up tonight, or grab a beer and go sit in the garage for some quality time
  17. couple of old pics of Folis in action http://usa7s.com/vb/showthread.php?t=1438&highlight=folis+formula
  18. Alright folks. STOP posting about Obama and Bush
  19. heh, Kale is a long time member at corvetteforum. his site cracks me up.
  20.
  21. yup, if you didn't talk to Folis, you missed a good time.
  22. I burnt myself on frankn7, before it had the long tube headers... took it to the golf course, and after I got out, my brother called my name. when I turned, my ankle got nailed on the exhaust. Really bad burn. With the long tube headers outside the car, the exhaust is much cooler. under normal driving, I can actually hold the end of the pipe for a second or two
