  1. I had seen that. It is pretty impressive. But 12's at 107 doesn't give me much worries Besides, I can always invite him to a track that requires 60 miles of driving to get there  There are some REALLY SCARY FAST electric drag bikes out there
  2. I finally had a cow :willy:
  3. I'm migrating our .org and .com domain names to the new hosting provider (prior to today, they were being redirected from the old host). If you experience any problems, usa7s.net should still work - yes, I do realize if you experience any problems, you won't see this post Wish me luck...

    Lotus Evora

sorry, but I think they're bringing a knife to a gun fight. That car weighs 2900 lbs! within 160 lbs of the Z06, with about 55% of the power :ack:

  9. best moment this year for me was FINALLY going for that first drive after the reconstruction. I had forgotten how the car felt when you roll on the throttle in 3rd.
  10. Rob, very nice
  11. We're headed to the snowy playground. Snowshoe has had 54" of snow in the last 11 days :hurray: speaking of travelling, here is a parting joke. Enjoy. --------------------------- A man in Phoenix calls his son in New York the day before Thanksgiving and says, "I hate to ruin your day, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are divorcing; forty-five years of misery is enough." "Pop, what are you talking about?" the son screams. "We can't stand the sight of each other any longer, "the father says. "We're sick of each other, and I'm sick of talking about this, so you call your sister in Chicago and tell her." Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone. "Like heck they're getting divorced," she shouts, "I'll take care of this." She calls Phoenix immediately, and screams at her father, "You are NOT getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there. I'm calling my brother back, and we'll both be there tomorrow. Until then, don't do a thing, DO YOU HEAR ME?" and hangs up. The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife. "Okay," he says, "they're coming for Thanksgiving and paying their own way."

    golf balls

A man got on a bus with both of his front pockets full of golf balls, and sat down next to a beautiful blonde... The puzzled blond kept looking at him and his bulging pockets. Finally, after many such glances from her, he said, 'It's golf balls.' Nevertheless, the blonde continued to look at him for a very long time, thinking about what he had said. After several minutes, not being able to contain her curiosity any longer, the blond asked, 'Does it hurt like tennis elbow?'

    Club Stickers

good question... forgot all about them. I'll email Al.
  20. That's what I had suspected (hoped for) at first. From what I've read online, the internal leaks usually end up in the oil pan, not the intake port. The intake port on this one was a little bit more wet than the others, but I saw no obvious signs of problems with the intake gasket (which Arya had replaced 15K miles ago). Also, after I removed the intake, I did a leak down test, and this cylinder definitely had a leak. leak down was 60%, and you could hear cooland bubbling, although I'm not quite sure which passage.
  21. so I finally won the battle against the exhaust flange bolts and got the head off. As I had suspected, it looks like #6 is the culprit. What concerns me is that I don't see any obvious path in the head, block deck, or the head gasket for coolant to get into the cylinder. I will look more carefully for cracks. Let me know if you guys see anything. the two gasket pics are from both sides. Pics are 3 meg each... sorry... http://www.usa7s.net/forum/uploads/slngsht/Yukon/CIMG2791.jpg http://www.usa7s.net/forum/uploads/slngsht/Yukon/CIMG2792.jpg http://www.usa7s.net/forum/uploads/slngsht/Yukon/CIMG2793.jpg http://www.usa7s.net/forum/uploads/slngsht/Yukon/CIMG2794.jpg http://www.usa7s.net/forum/uploads/slngsht/Yukon/CIMG2795.jpg http://www.usa7s.net/forum/uploads/slngsht/Yukon/CIMG2796.jpg http://www.usa7s.net/forum/uploads/slngsht/Yukon/CIMG2797.jpg
