  1. I'm a minority shareholder, one of the starters, and the CTO. We do speech to text conversions, mainly for voice mails at this point. So, you would get your voice mails as text emails, which allows you to store them, sort them, search them, etc... We also are tying our technology to Voice XML platforms (typical automated answering systems you get at banks, airlines, etc...).

  3. I think my wife is working both days that weekend Just NOW, like 2 minutes ago, I took the car for a spin to see if putting a residual pressure valve in my front brakes solved my weak brake problem. It did. but I'm still not confident enough in the car to bring it out. It's basically been sitting for the last 5 weeks. I have my hands full right now trying to save a startup company I've been working on for over a year. Other than having a hard time raising capital and getting new customers, things are going great  :banghead:
  4. that's awesome
  5. I've been taking Frankn7 out for 30-45 minute drives the last few days. I have not had any time to work on the body, so she's going naked. I almost forgot how fun it is to drive her. Only complaint I have is that it's impossible to open it up and be a responsible driver at the same time
  6. eh... looks better than my car ( what doesn't? ), but it doesn't do much for me.
  7. Thanks for the report Jerry
  8. Skip, problem 1... Scale. Torque and HP scales are different. That's why the lines don't cross at 5252 Torque drop is quite possible depending on ramming effects (or lack thereof).
  9. :iagree::iagree::iagree::iagree::iagree::iagree:

  11. try again, let me know if the upload works... had to make room for all those horses
  12. give me a minute to make sure we're not out of disk space... brb
  13. Andrew, right about the part you said "that thump you heard is him falling off his chair laughing." I was actually laughing out loud. Not because of the 20 HP, but what you wrote
  14. mine was full soft. With the pliers, as soon as it moved a little bit (way less than one click), it went back to normal... clicks normally, etc...
  15. Tried that Martin, no Cigar. Then I tried Tom's approach (with pliers) and it worked
  16. I went to adjust the rear shocks today, and the rebound knob is stuck. Can't turn it in either direction. Any ideas before I call QA1?
  17. Welcome to the forum. Car looks great.
  18. This bill does not fix corruption. Corruption is the root cause. It does not fix the 'nation of whiners' we have become. It rewards people (and businesses) who were irresponsible with their finances. Take the auto industry as an example. As soon as they heard about a bailout, they lined up at the door too... PLEASE bail out auto loans! WTF?! Auto loans did not have adjustable rates. Auto values were not skyrocketing like housing. There was no speculation about autos. Do you know what the problem was? Too much credit. When you make 50K a year, and you qualify for a 30K auto, what do you think automakers will bring to the market? 4 door basic sedans that cost 30K. pickup trucks that cost 40K. Why not? they're serving market needs. Credit needs to tighten. When the average Joe will only qualify for 20K auto loans, auto makers will make those cars - a little less frill, but basic transportation. That's how the free market will correct itself. With all the talk about the sky falling on the stalk market, PLEASE take a look at historical P/E ratios. The market is still OVER VALUED. The market needs to adjust, and then life will go on. The only legislation that's needed is to restore the lending safeguards we had before they started messing with it.
  19. the full list. Let's see if McCain has the nads to expose the senators who put in line items for Hollywood, wooden arrows, race tracks, mine rescue, American Indians, etc... he said just a week ago as president, he would expose this crap.
  20. These people have NO shame... I guess to get the bailout passed, we're right back to throwing in little sweeteners to buy votes, like this one: SEC. 503. EXEMPTION FROM EXCISE TAX FOR CERTAIN WOODEN ARROWS DESIGNED FOR USE BY CHILDREN. (a) IN GENERAL.—Paragraph (2) of section 4161(b) is amended by redesignating subparagraph (B) as sub301 paragraph © and by inserting after subparagraph (A) the following new subparagraph: ‘‘(B) EXEMPTION FOR CERTAIN WOODEN ARROW SHAFTS.—Subparagraph (A) shall not apply to any shaft consisting of all natural wood with no laminations or artificial means of enhancing the spine of such shaft (whether sold separately or incorporated as part of a finished or unfinished product) of a type used in the manufacture of any arrow which after its assembly— ‘‘(i) measures 5/16 of an inch or less in diameter, and ‘‘(ii) is not suitable for use with a bow described in paragraph (1)(A).’’. (b) EFFECTIVE DATE.—The amendments made by this section shall apply to shafts first sold after the date of enactment of this Act. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1100647291_worf.gif
  21. how much did the setup cost you?
  22. community organizing in action
  23. It is exactly as simple as that. How did it become this way? It helps our candidates get elected when in the short term you can get people in million dollar homes, driving expensive cars. about political parties... think of what you have to go through if you are a democrat, and you don't want to kiss up to unions, or if you are a republican, and you don't salute the religious right. If you are an independent, you're pretty much up the creek. why? you don't have sheeple lined up to vote the party line for you. There is enough smear generated by both sides that their entrenched base can not even look at one positive thing about the other candidate. Primary elections in many states are closed. As an independent, I have no vote in selecting the people who will be on the ballot in November. Then, there is the blame game... :banghead:
  24. hey, a vote is a vote. It used to be I could just shake hands and kiss babies, but it's tough being in politics these days. every vote counts
  25. good read. nobody is able to man up and do something about it though, because there is no chance in hell that our "nation of whiners" (as Phil Gramm put it) would ever elect someone who'll tell us to tighten our belts, work hard, quit borrowing and consuming. our foreign policy is a joke as well. obviously under Bush, but also with others. on the domestic front, we have become so politically correct, we can't even speak the truth or stop shooting ourselves in the foot. everybody jumps on the home ownership bandwagon with feel good legislation that gives out loans like candy - creditworthiness be damned. Dems are guilty of it (google community reinvestment act, and clinton administration modifications to it), and pubs have had 8 years to stop it. All we get is a joke at the end "Give us 700B in 3 days or we're all gonna die!!!! :willy: ". Give me a break. I remember Bush and Cheney on TV every day pushing for congress to authorize the Iraq war. Why not the same arm twisting the last 6 months of this supposed pending economic dooms day? Fortunately Pelocy is a complete idiot and crapped on the whole deal right before the vote. Kudos to the pubs ( and dems) who stepped up and said No - although I'm sure for different reasons. As far as I'm concerned the failure to pass was a really good thing. There is NO WAY anything remote to a well thought out package of that size can be put together in a week. The root cause of our problems is the political party system. unless you kiss azz and make promises to all the special interest groups on the left and the right, you can't even get on the dance floor. we are becoming more socialist every day :nonod:
