  2. updates updates!!! http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/9016/cimg2709resize.jpg http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/728/cimg2710resize.jpg http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/9451/cimg2713resize.jpg http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/4889/cimg2719resize.jpg after a few delays we are back on track done since last pics: ~ turbo header completer, exhaust side now pointing straight into the exhaust system. ~ cut 1/4 inch off top and bottom of the intercooler ~ ran turbo oil feed line ~ made/installed egr block off plate ~ welded up new thermostat housing (no longer in front!) ~ cut/ rewelded water outlet ~ turbo exhaust flange has been started ~ flange made for water on turbo and fitting installed ~ figured out how all my coolant and oil will be flowing ~ ordered all silicone hose (blue), alum piping, clamps (t bolt?), and new coolant hose (blue). no skip im not trying to copy off of you... but red seems to be harder to get then i expected. to do: ~ finish exhaust flange to exhaust pipe ~ cut trim the intake manifold to fit the next item on the list ~ weld new outlet onto radiator (coolant will flow out of the back of the motor, around the intake manifold side of the motor, across the top of the radiator and into the new flange. reason for this is that there is to much pluming going on on the left and i dont want coolant running neat the turbo header. ~ weld piping onto the two aluminum flanges shown bolted on (bends need to be rather tight, so we rather weld then use hoses) im sure there is more....
  3. they look to be the stock wcm ultralite fenders. i think those wheels fit in the fender because the backspacing is different then most of the other diamond wheels we are running.
  4. this year i feel like im buying my car all over again....
  5. well being that this is for the street, i dont care to much. i have diff wheels for track.

  7. the car above is mine. as for the current wheels on it... my wagon is eagerly awaiting their return. those car carlisle this past weekend will probably note the need for their return. also i would rather 18's then 19's. while they do fit they are a hair bigger then i would like. just checked. the pin stripe can only be "none, red, orange, yellow, white"
  8. i had a WONDERFUL time. it was great to meet some of the forum regulars in public and even get a ride in a mighty v8 7. im hoping that a younger generation of 7 owners will appear so that i am not always the youngest of the bunch. i look forward to more events!

  19. on the weekends around here there are a lot of hot rods and bikers running around going to diff hot spots and cruises. most give you a thumbs up and will ask questions when your stopped at a light. unfortunately they are not very educated in the 7's and usually ask me if it has a VW or Porsche motor in it personally i never thought it looked like a dune buggy...
  20. consider other 7 brands besides caterham. i know the some builders like WORLD CLASS MOTORSPORTS can pretty much build the chassy for your fit.
