That MB hauler must be a kick to drive sitting in front of the front axle. I've had two Corvair Rampside pickups where you sit right over the front axle and the ride motions and sensations were really different.
Great little truck though and with radial tires, stiff shocks and a camber compensator it made a fairly decent canyon carver in its day. Scared the crap out of a number of sports car owners taking them for rides in the canyons.
The MB hauler looks to have a little bit of crush room before you die in a head on collision. In the Corvair, your knees and feet were the crush zone, just a flimsy bumper and one layer of sheet metal between you and death.
