Definitely not my car. Mine was never put together until I put it together. Attached is a photo of it hanging from the rafters of the barn where it was for 35+ years!

Ian, I have one on loan from a friend's 64 Seven. I am going to copy it, hopefully make several if it goes well. I have some time, as I don't need really need it, until I make the trip to drive the Tail of the Dragon in NC later this year... Cheers, V

Ian, Nice find on that handle from the UK. I take it the other one will work if bent? Let me know if you want to sell it? Enjoy the build! Vin

The springs on mine are from QA-1 and are 250 lb/in 1.9" diameter on Spax adjustable shocks. I gained 1.25- to 1.5" from the pan bottom to the ground.

Wdb, Been there, done that. I had to put longer and stiffer springs in the front of my car to make it road worthy. The rear sump oil pan for a Crossflow is a 70's Mercury Capri. Motomobile in Germany has a bunch of pans on their website. You could also try Norm at Team Blitz (vintage Capri parts supplier) or the Capri II FB pages. I have a really nice rear hand made sump on mine that I got from a USA Seven member. It came with some parts along with his Seven. I have seen others that were clearly made by the same person or shop, but nobody seems to know who that was. Best of luck, Vin

The Bend is correct for a RHD car. See pic from Tony Weale's book. If you don't use it, I would like to buy it! Vin

Lotsats, Great looking Seven! It is doubtful that the rear disc set up will work with 13" rims, I had to machine some of the high spots off the calipers and use longer studs & 9.65mm wheel spacers to get my K&N rims to clear. That caused the P20560 to be too close to the fenders, so I went with drums instead of replacing the tires which were brand new. My rear is Cortina GT which I believe is wider than standard Cortina and it looks like you have narrower tires. Vin

The handle looks great. Sorry the shipping abuse happened. I believe the plastic part is available from Moss and others. I reached out to Mike and have not heard back yet.

Glad it worked out. I got used to mine in no time, even though I had to learn to shift with my left hand!
-
No problem at all. The key chain does not even touch my hand when shifting. As for the wires, when I put the harness from Autosparks in I made sure it was layed out so nothing was hanging down.
-
Wdb, This is my shifter without the boot on it. It is a Quaife, very short and worked out really well, no interference with dash. I do have long arms, so maybe that is why it is good for me. I have a stick shifter and also another Quaife one that I modified before I found the one in the picture as well. V

Look forward to seeing it. What did he charge?

Any idea what you want for them? Mine seem fine, but you never know...

I may be?

I agree! I don't know the offset, will have to go measure, the owner is 82 and that type of stuff eludes him. Hence the Ford pcd pattern rims he bought for his Triumph pcd car. Will try and do asap

Henry, From photos, it is standard 10. There are nubers on the hub, but too hard to read. It originated and was set up by Raceware Inc, which was a Seven parts supplier and Caterham dealer in Marblehead MA, 40+ years ago. It has all the mounts for suspension & E brake and has been kept inside since. The Ratio is 3.63 : 1 and it measures 53.5" from hub face to hub face (without brake drums on). Brake drums, shoes, spring kits, and wheel cylinders are NOS. Vin

Wayne, I agree, and most likely the most important part, as you said, you know what you are getting. Probably due to the potential liability of bad fuel causing a plane crash, the gas is held to a much higher standard. Rumors have been around here for years about certain brands having water their pump gas. I would not put it past them or any greased palm State inspector to look the other way! Hope your car is coming along well! Vin
