    Maybe these videos show that the CSR, with it's " chassis enhancements" as Caterham's web site states are working. The R500 looks faster, while the CSR looks much more settled down and in control. I think both cars were very well driven. And are they both running on the same tires and powerplant ?? Good videos all the same ..

    Last summer we were at the Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica. We stayed around till dark to see the lava roll down the volcano. I asked the guide how long would we have to live if it really lit off, he said 6 to 8 seconds. He said the gases would kill you first . And we were 500 yards from the bottom.     FightingForAir, Your idea of a LS engine swap is a cool idea, but there's alittle more to it than just replacing the engine. The transmission would need to be changed, if you can get a big trans in the tunnel, its tight with Type 9, new drive shaft, and you better swap out the rear, because thats going to blow the first time you stand on the gas. But if can do all of that relatively inexpensively, I'd like to drive it when you done. LOL

    I agree with Boxologist, you may get to the limit with the Kuhmo's. You will be feel it come up to the limits in a more controlled setting. The sticky tire's will also mask some of the handling problems, and mask some driver error till something bad takes place. Then all the fun goes away, fun is what a DE event is all about in my view.     We thought about the Angle grinder, someone did offer to flatten out the support that spans the cowl with a hammer. ( While it was on the Car). Lots of fun with alittle work thown in. Plus a bit of trash talking, most of it your way Mike. Of course I came to your defense !!!!!
