There is an SR-71A and an A12 parked up in Palmdale/Lancaster. Been up to see it a few times, they let us pose a car in front of them for a shoot a while back http://www.mjswebgallery.com/carz/images/G8GXP_217.jpg http://www.caranddriver.com/var/ezwebin_site/storage/images/reviews/hot_lists/high_performance/american_performance/2009_pontiac_g8_gxp_second_short_take/2009_pontiac_g8_gxp/pong8_gxp_09_101/1978082-1-eng-US/pong8_gxp_09_101_gallery_image_large.jpg

Waterboarding Used 266 Times on 2 Suspects A little more than 15 seconds don't you think? The guy in the above video didn't even make 5 seconds. And Jerry, do you think it would be ok for our enemies to use this technique on our troops? Personally, I am conflicted on the issue, but it seems to me that a lot of American foreign policy has been "do as I say, not as I do" over the years and then we wonder why these people hate us I'd venture a guess that these harsh techniques won't stop, and that the administrations tactic here is [intentionally] more about appearances to the rest of the world than actual policy Since you brought it up.... How do you know that the govt and media reaction is not the reason why the Swine flu became "trivial"? Perhaps it all put a stop to it (and it certainly is not over) before it started. Don't you think it is better to be safe than sorry? I am sure had the govt done nothing and this ended up killing thousands you'd be here bitching that the govt did nothing to stop it and it is all their fault, blah, blah, blah..... The reason why the SW is a big deal is because unlike other flu's, it has killed younger healthier people, not people who elderly and/or already have health issues. And BTW our govt's and media's reaction is nothing compared to other countries. My wife's family is in Japan and they are freaking out about it over there, her mom calls us every week asking why we are not taking it seriously, she even sent us a care package with face masks. And speaking of over reactionary, isn't that what all these political threads really are, just over reacting to some small tidbit of information without having all the facts? Oh no! Obama farted, it must be because of his policy on [fill in the blank] I must rant about it on car forums so I can whip everyone up into a frenzy! .

I only wear it on the freeways, that way when people take pictures and video tape me from their cars they have a really shocking image to show their friends

How many different sevens have you driven?
MoPho replied to slngsht's topic in General Sevens Discussion
Driven: 1959 Lotus 7 Caterham CSR 260 Caterham 7 powered by a Zetec Caterham 7 SV powered by a 250hp duratec Caterham 7 Superlight R Zetec (Mr Orange) had a few rides in a Caterham 7 40th anniversary edition, powered by an XFlow -
And I didn't even get to take you on the really twisty ones since you got all green around the gills on mehttp://www.websmileys.com/sm/obscene/eck16.gif 200mph in a Seven, that must rip your eyeballs out
-
You guys with big horsepower must have some pretty straight and boring roads.http://www.websmileys.com/sm/sad/533.gif The roads we have here, they are so tight and twisty, I can barely unleash the whole 200hp that my car has. I have a friend with an Ariel Atom that has another 100hp on me (and about the same weight) and he really can't go any faster than I can. I am sure the big horsepower is fun for the 5 or so seconds before you have to jump on the brakes though

I was going to say when you put a V8 in it
-
I bet it's fun.... for about 9 seconds. The rest of the time you will spend putting around driving slow trying not to get arrested just like you have to do in the stock Lamborghini

Don't say I never gave you anything

LOL, no not a guy, but she was rather artificially enhanced which was rather unappealing to me. It was a good excuse to take the car out for a drive though

Actually, I was the assistant (and car provider) for this one, I was helping out a friend with his shoot. The dream is better than the reality unfortunately

Took mine to work yesterday, it involved a pornstar

The Puma's are great and will fit just fine, much better than Piloti's (which is another common driving shoe) IMO, albeit the Piloti's are better for walking and standing around than the Pumas, but the Piloti's are no where as good a driving shoe, which is the point of buying them isn't it? ( I have both) I have Puma speedcats http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/6814228/c/151.html they are fantastic. They run about a half size small

You may have seen the thread on LT where someone was saying the Elise's shifter was like bolt action and the best he ever experienced and I accused him of sniffing glue..... Now you know why
-
Yes. Everything is pretty much self explanatory, with exception to the windshield washer switch (logo looks like a pic of a transmission) and the brake failure warning switch Climate control is the right pedal in the footwell, push down for cooler, release for warmer. Fan switch is for even more warmerer (if you have heater installed)

Shipping a Seven from Florida to California
MoPho replied to dickalow 's topic in General Sevens Discussion
I paid $1800 to have the Seven shipped, enclosed trailer, from NJ, to Los Angeles last June, but that was when gas prices were near the peak and truckers were crying. It was arranged through Bluestar (http://www.bluestarautomovers.com) which seems to be just a locating service as they ultimately farmed out the work to Plycon (http://www.plycongroup.com/services-8.html) My only complaint was that there was a little miscommunication about when they were going to pick the car up from Al, but it all worked out. Car showed up on time and undamaged. Here is the car leaving Al's possession, as you can see the upper level has a complete floor, so leaking oil from cars above would not be an issue. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/130269319_PictureB.jpg http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1478288004_PictureD.jpg Car was delivered to their hub center in LA, and transferred to a smaller carrier for delivery in my neighborhood http://www.mjswebgallery.com/delivery/1.JPG http://www.mjswebgallery.com/delivery/2.JPG -
