  1. I have one. I'll PM you the details. Tom
  2. Now that right there is funny, I don't care who you are... I wonder how they did that? Tom
  3. That guy did a roll and was upside down just as I crested a small hill on my dirt bike in the 70's, just off the east end of Deer Valley Airport. I thought he was crashing so I tried to make a U-turn while still going up hill and finally just laid it down and high tailed it down the trail. By the time I climbed back up the hill and the rest of the guys stopped laughing, I realized that this nut was doing aerobatics in this twin engined plane. I think the FAA finally told him he was too old to fly or some such rubbish. I saw him in the late 80's at Oshkosh for the annual EAA FlyIn. What a pilot. Tom
  4. A friend of mine had something similar happen to him while he was archery Elk hunting here in AZ. He had paused to take a break from tracking in a warm spot and promptly fell asleep. he awoke to a large bull elk sniffing at his camo leggings, evidently confused by the scent strips and the bow across his chest. My buddy just froze, hoping that the bull would decide against mounting him right then and there. As the bull finally decided that he wasn't a willing and able cow, started to walk away, my buddy tried to inch an arrow out of the holder but the bull caught sight of the strange motion and was gone in a flash.
  5. Boy was I expecting something else... Tom
  6. Pretty cool photochop but I think they could have done a better job on the timing. I always thought it would be cool to get a .wav file of each pitch at each rpm and then play them back through your speaker system in relation to throttle position. Just like this guy with the F-1 recording, you could have a V-8 rumble in your Honda Civic. Tom
  7. Haha, that was great. Thanks for sharing. Tom
  8. The reason there are spoiled children in this world is because you can't spank Grandparents. We're expecting our second grandson in two weeks. Tom
  9. Bob, Thanks for posting those links. Tom
  10. You know, scientists still need that paycheck also so if their company or university needs money to pay the scientists, and the companies or universities get their money from the democratic congress and president, they had better tow the line. This whole global warming would be easier to believe if it was funded by someone who didn't have anything to gain or lose by the outcome of the research. Without a doubt, no matter who causes a problem, whether it be global warming or giraffes with broken legs from stepping in gopher holes in the plains of the Serengetti, the solution is always for the American taxpayer to pay for. You can bet that China will not pay one dime; but none of the "climatologists" will have the balls to call them out on it. It's a lot easier to jump on a Bamawagon than to question. Tom
  11. Hey Ken, this is Tom the guy that came over to look at your car before you sold it. While I can't afford it, it is one beautifully done car. That thing is a work of art. Hate to see you have to sell it. Very nice car. And loud by the way. Tom
  12. Well, I should hope so.
  13. Hahaha that was great. I had a 73 Triumph Spitfire that I finally got rid of because of Sir Lucas. Tom
  14. Hmmm, I don't know if that's just a monitoring system or also an inflation system also. I'm wondering if other countries might have a higher road tax for truck tires that have more pounds per square inch on the ground. Also notice how centrifugal force puts a bow in the wires/tube from the center section to the valve stem. Tom
  15. I can't help on the selling issues but I wouldn't mind seeing your car in person. I'm in Cave Creek/ North Phoenix area. Tom
  16. Was there a car in that video? Did anybody catch the mistake? Tom
  17. Skip, Yeah, I'm one of those guys from "those" days. I'm not going to divulge how old I am but God was just finnishing up creating something, I think... Tom
  18. Isn't that why we're here??? Did I make a wrong turn back there?? Tom
  19. True, true. The SHO motor fully dressed weighs 540 pounds. There is just something about the sound of that Yamaha at 7,000 rpms that gets me. When mine was normally aspirated, I would purposely look for reasons to come to a stop, just so I could row through the gears again. Yep, I'm a sick puppy... Tom
  20. Sweet! You could pull that 140 hp 3.0 Vulcan out and drop an SHO 3.2 in and have 220 hp and have a real screamer there. Thanks for posting that, I'll have to give that guy a call. Tom
  21. Dang that is neat. It would need a lot of guards on it to keep from ripping off limbs in those chain drives but that is still one great idea. Tom
