  1. Wouldn't they be "gravitationally endowed" rather than "challenged"? I am altitudally gifted but horizontally weak in the middle. Tom
  2. On the same BBC page that Skip posted, read the other related articles about F-1. As usual, Bernie fast talked a lot of banks into giving him money but he wants others to pay them back. Tom
  3. Is it just me or are those headlight turned sideways? It also could of had the tail light mounted up a little further on the rear fenders to make them more horizontal; are those Spitfire light? All in all a beautifull car and probably well worth the asking price; but I'd be worried about wrecking it so much that I would probably have a wreck.... Tom
  4. I thought the purpose of those were to keep the tires from crawling up other tires. Tom
  5. What north/south trannies would that bolt to? Tom
  6. Martin, If that was even remotely possible, then this would become reality: http://www.somalicruises.com/testimonials.php Tom
  7. Martin, If that was even remotely possible, then this would become reality: http://www.somalicruises.com/testimonials.php
  8. Hahhahahahahaha, that was great. Did you make that up or find it elsewhere. Stupid funny nonetheless. Tom
  9. Oyagi, I too would like to see how you mounted that Eaton to the Honda motor. Could you start a new thread with pics? Tom
  10. I joined PAUUA People Against the Unwarranted Use of Acronyms. That was right after my wife joined DAM, Mothers Against Dyslexia Tom
  11. If you need to know when you have too much horsepower; read this http://locostusa.com/forums/search.php?st=0&sk=t&sd=d&keywords=%2Btoo++%2Bmuch++%2Bhorsepower++&start=15 Tom
  12. Well that'll make the city treasurer hopping mad... Tom
  13. I used a bullet camera found here: http://www.spygadgets.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=S190CWX&Category_Code=BULLET with the remote microphone setup so that I could place the mic out of the wind and near where I wanted the sound to be recorded. For the sound of the engine, I placed it near the rear upper frame rail, just below the roof rack. Like here: To record occupant squeals of delight and fear, I hung the mic from the inside rear view mirror. I can't post any of those because most involved some sort of curse words. Tom
  14. What I don't understand is: Are they really a fabricating company? Or do they just buy from someone and resell? Any fabricating company worth half their weight in salt would know the proper way to fix that, and it wouldn't be by enlarging the offending hole. You weld up your mistake and re-machine. The problem is, if they're dumb enough to mis-drill it in the first place, even dumber to suggest wallowing the hole even bigger till it fits, are they going to be smart enough now to fix it correctly. I highly doubt it. Like was mentioned earlier, I wonder what else they don't know about the flywheel manufacturing business. Tom
  15. Holy crap! It's like a NASCAR race at Martinsville! Tom
  16. Well, if you had stayed in just a couple more months, you would have learned that the number one rule of affixing blame is to FIRST find out who has the deeper pockets. Then you build a case as to why they were negligent. It is a complete waste of an attorney's time to go after someone that is broke or lacks insurrance. Sad state of affairs, but unfortunately, the truth. Tom
  17. Looks like he has steering brakes also; tall lever next to the shift knob. Tom
  18. The Left Seat at Phoenix Deer Valley. It sits right next to the itinerant parking ramp where all the warbirds from the Cold War years come to visit. Tom
  19. Ah.
  20. I probably have as much chance, don't I? Tom
  21. With your fabricating skills, you could add-on the articulated tail conveyor for 4K or less. Tom
  22. Hell yeah, that's great price. I don't care for RHD but for someone that does, that is a smoking deal. Now could you please find me a LHD for the same price near Phoenix? Thanking you in advance. Tom
  23. That looks like a trailer version of a "gravel shooter", just without the steerable conveyor chute. They use these "shooters" to place all of the rock along our freeways now. Man, can they lay a lot of gravel with one of those. Tom
  24. Damn that was hard; 63% on the first, 100 on the second. I had trouble not reading the first word but then having to read the second and third. Tom
  25. Big Three? You must mean the Big One (GM Government Motors) and Little Three Chrysler (Now Fiat and US Government). Ford (number 2) hasn't asked for and therefor hasn't received any bailout funds. Tom
