  1. Jack, Thanks for the kind comments. It's good to know that Dave's car is sorted and complete. Here's to us all getting together down the road.
  2. OK. Gotta ask; is the turkey a pet?
  3. Russ, what’s on the horizon for 2018?
  4. Stop beating around the bush. Describe the guy already. :jester:
  5. Thanks, Croc. Depending on how things work out this year; job, family, etc., giving serious thought to NJMP.
  6. She is derivable...again. :-D
  7. . . .
  8. Minus a tune, the Storker is finished. Spent the last few days setting up the suspension (ride height, camber, toe; still needs corner weighting), chasing down a minor leak here and there (tightening fasteners and hose clamps properly works wonders), venting cold air to the oil cooler and installing the harnesses. That's my 14 year old son, who is three inches taller than I am, trying on the right seat. The weekend was spent giving family and friends long awaited rides and the car seems to be well sorted at this time. The tune is scheduled for Jan 9 at SNL in the Dallas area. If all goes well, it'll be time for a much needed track day. . . . :lurk:
  9. Amen, brother. Preach it!:jester:
  10. Mike, Back down to just the Storker. Sold the ‘stable mate’ Cobra. Can I count the Toyota mini van? :jester: Travel safe, Mike. Merry Christmas and thanks for your keeping this thread updated. Still goes well with my morning coffee.
  11. So, if you cross a 7 with a pickup, is it a 7-up? Hey, just asking.
  12. OK as long as the battery in the car being jump started isn’t a lithium ion.
  13. Today was the day. Though sorting is needed, the Storker fired up and moved under its own power (down the driveway, to the cul-de-sac and return) . . . :smash: . . . :auto: . . .:hurray: First start:
  14. Enclosing engine bay underside.
  15. Under-hood plumbing: oil/air separator and clean air source . . . :smash:
  16. Creative clutch bleeding and clutch pedal stop.
  17. Braille battery . . . :smash:
  18. Been busy this week (taking advantage of some down time) knocking out the short list; finishing electrical, a bit more fab work hear and there, wrapping up under-hood plumbing, filling the car with fluids, bleeding the clutch and brakes.
  19. Fantastic!
  20. And just when I was really beginning to enjoy the read...:toetap05:
  21. Ran across this article. May be helpful, or at least a good starting point: http://www.simplesevens.org/anglocanadian/angloSIVClubman.htm
  22. Bob, We may have to rename it the vomit comet.
  23. The photos are a bit deceiving. The rear of the oil pan is much lower than the plumbing (lowest point of the car). So, to answer your question...the oil pan. Hey, worked great last time. :jester:
