  1. I'll be running the Storker at COTA this weekend (Nov 15/16) with Chin. If anyone is in the area, come out for a visit. According to the run group rosters, Mario (another Storker driver) and myself will be the only Seven type cars there. We'll be sharing a garage with an Elan Pro Formula Mazda so we'll have a good place to sit and swap lies.
  2. Eye candy! :drool::drool::drool:
  3. You're killing me . . . . . . . :jester:
  4. Bob, If the Minehearts give you any s#%t for Storker morphing, send them my way. I spend away to much time promoting their cars to take any flak. . As for speed, you will go faster. Yes, Bob, you will. No sense in even arguing that one.
  5. Talked to Glen Mineheart and got the skinny on the white Storker. It's a promo ad for new builds, posted by Scott Mineheart. For that price, hmScott will build you that car . . . Or whatever you want.
  6. Bob, Is that your white car for sale?
  7. This one belongs to (did belong to) MB7 on this forum. This car is practically new; wonder why the sale soon soon. No mention on the Stalker forum of the car being for sale . . . . MB7's thread with a few more photos: http://www.usa7s.net/vb/showthread.php?t=9640&highlight=glen+scott . . . . peeper? . . . . . really? :toetap05: Ah, and that would be Storker, bucko. :jester:
  8. Guess we're on our own today.
  9. Yeah . . . . what they said. :toetap05: . . . . . My coffee is geting cold. :cuss:
  10. So, what's so wrong about modding your car?
  11. coffee, that makes me want to faint . . . And guys don't faint!

    "JohnCh I'm a big fan of the EVO 2, which replaced a PC680 . . . So far it' s been flawless (I just screwed myself by writing that, didn't I?) . . . " Yep

I'll throw in my two cents regarding my Braille battery: http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=21864 As well making my own cables: http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_itemId=21191
  16. There is a Stalker golf cart . . . Could that be a Storker?
  17. That is sad. One of my all time favorite programs. Tom will be missed. Thanks for posting.
  18. I'm all about using steel simply because it doesn't strip/gall like aluminum and has better overall grip once installed. Two part numbers for ¼" are: http://www.mcmaster.com/#90720A450 and http://www.mcmaster.com/#90720A460 The tool of choice is: http://www.mcmaster.com/#95603A770 The tool isn’t cheap, but one of the best I’ve found.
  19. Paul, Well said. I think a couple of reasons for finding humor in tragedy 'is' because we all can relate to the situation in some form. I've been working on and off with saws most of my adult life and have never even had a close call . . . . And then . . . Another reason; it's comforting to know you're not alone when 'stupid' jump up and bites us in the buttocks.
  20. After growing tired of using painter's tape for on-track paint protection, I was encouraged to try something a little different. So . . . . What happens when you mix in one can of white Plastidip, a few brightly colored water based paints, one eight-year old, one eleven-year old , a mom’s supervision and a dad’s approval? :jester: . . . . .
  21. Dang, Jim! That was one bad a$$ air hose! :boxing:
  22. Busa, Congradulations . . . I think.
  23. Brit, I meant to comment on your shifter. If Scott and Glen aren't aware that the shifter is available, you may want to share. This may be another 'gold brick in the back yard' moment for new builders.
  24. Brit, Looks good. If for some reason the 1/4 fine tapped hole ever strips (shouldn't with the other bolt being a solid through-mount), you can use a rivet nut from MC. I've used these with great success (several on #85): http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-rivet-nuts/=uf461p
  25. Good grief! I wake up this morning to beer slippage, big black backhoes, groin injuries and . . . Oh yeah, Steve and I road together on the backhoe to the bar where all questionable occurrences unfolded. And you wouldn't believe how great a chick-magnet a backhoe can be at the right bar . . . Never did find my fingers after opening that beer.
