  1. Fantastic that you got your Rotus running! Congratulations! My wiring is a custom loom made 18 years ago by a tech who used to work for Custer at Rotus. The old loom was so bad that the only thing to do was start over. There is no schematic but rather standard colors for functions. I suggest that you use a multimeter to check continuity between two points and document as needed. Also know each fuse connects to what function, etc.

  5. I started this thread and ended going with the signal dynamics module. I use a (on) off (on) switch to control the module. The (on) indicates that the switch is momentary in both directions. Makes for fun use of the turn signals.

  18. I thought it was just an interesting stunt .. but what is the scientific value? One reporter suggested that it could help astronauts in trouble (aka Columbia Shuttle astronauts) possibly return safely. But there is a great difference between 25 mi drop and 17000 mph orbital velocity at 125 miles away.

  20. I replaced my old worn bench seats with two leather Caterham seats which feel great! I did bolt steel bars to the bottom of the frame into which the runners fasten. I used grade 8 bolts nuts and washers.
