  1. Would be interesting. I am planning on a BE7 and have put a lot of thought into engine option. just couple of points 1. It's a new motor so it's going to very expensive to buy one, if you can even find one. 2. The engine is going to be wide at the top of the engine compared to the 'Busa, those tall individule heads. 3. Oiling will be an issue, on your own there I am sure custom sumps maybe dry sump systems will have to be built. 4. Maybe consider the Aprilia/Rotax engine. Very durable, been around a while, and it's even dry sump. Graham
  2. Leeper, your logic is like going into a car dealership and ordering a car one part at a time, it's going to cost a fortune. Were a complete set of throttle bodies for a GSXR including injectors, fuel rail, tps and pressure regulator will probably cost $100, checkout http://tinyurl.com/2eqlbcu for an example. Your best bet is to find something that can be adapted to suit. I am sure there are a ton of web sites then people have installed fuel injection on your motor. One other comment TMW are a real high end supplier, good stuff, Haltech not so much, not a high end unit, there software is not know as being flexible and or easy to use. A set of throttle bodies you can adapt and a Megasquirt will work great. I run a Megasquirt on my Turbo Miata, works great checkout http://www.diyautotune.com/. But if you want to go high end TMW and say a Motec ECU would be perfect. Jenvey have a great reputation send them an email and see if they can help http://www.jenvey.co.uk/.
  3. I seriously considered this car, but I want all the latest and greatest. So I decided to let this great original car pass to an owner that would appreciate it for what is is, a great and very unique car. It's very sad it's going to be butchered. I understand these cars are not frozen in time, and the spirit of the cars is about change and individuality, but you can only go so far. You use the term "(the only original part left is the block)", and that is the way it should stay. Very sad, very sad.
