Mike, Fantastic job of pulling this off. This will be the best event yet! I hope everyone east of the Mississippi can make it. Don't forget to bring the family (if they make a fuss about this being a holiday) as the area is great fun. Both the Jersey Shore are close by. Cape May or Atlantic City are less than an hour away. The karting is a blast, but I have a definite weight disadvantage. Glad everyone was OK. My 2009 Caterham has fixing points on the chassis crossmember behind the seats. Caterham sells a kit if bushings to work with lowered floors.

Croc, I get a whole season out of the slicks that with shipping are about $100 each. So far I have had great luck getting nearly new tires. I have not consulted your actuarial team, but I think the Michelin used slicks end up being cheaper than the Avon CR500s and much cheaper than Tom's mega-wide Hoosiers!

Croc, I think you will find the Michelin 20/54-13 (front) 24/57-13 (rear) slicks work quite nicely on your new 13" BBS wheels! I find them on eBay in the UK for under $50 plus shipping. (Shipping is about the same cost as the tires) Perhaps we should do a group buy so we can get new ones.

Tom, Thanks for the post. I have to say that this weekend is my favorite event of the year and I am very much looking forward to it. I have the open top Momo wheel and like it. I can see the gauges fine and don't have an issue with the size. It gave me the added benefit of some extra knee room. You can get them a bit cheaper than $250 at somewhere like OG Racing.
