  1. I am replacing my Old, Stock Caterham muffler. My motor is a 220 hp Zetec. Up for consideration are Burns and Hush Power. Links below: http://www.buainless.com/sm-200-350-17.aspx http://www.hushpower.com/product/29/HP-2+Series+Mufflers.html Does anyone have experience with either of these?
  2. You can see the length of the input shaft in the fourth photo.
  3. Brian, I don't have any reason to think it is anything other than a stock T-9.
  4. Clean, T-9 for sale. Came out of a Birkin. Never driven in Birkin. $1,200 OBO. I have had this as a back-up but do not need it any longer.

  6. Here are the photos of my front "SnowPlow" areo device. While it is not fancy and does not look very aerodynamic, it certainly does the job and counters the lift caused bu my clam shells. My front end is now quite stable at any speed and dives into turns. I would like to add more downforce at the rear. I think a wing and the Fluke diffuser could add a more grip on exit and a few more mph at the top end at VIR.
  7. Michael M. For the last year I have run with a 5.5" windscreen that is interchangable with a stock windsceen. Since my car has clamshells I added a front splitter attached to 5" wide cannards. This resulted in a new top end od 145-150 mph. I am considering the addition of a full closed engine bay and a diffuser. The one from Fluke seems to look like it will work with a wing. However, it is expensive and I do not know of anyone that hase possibly nd . However
  8. Has anyone added an aero device or devices to their car? If so what were the positive and negative effects? What prands or homemade specs? Thanks for sharing.
  9. Chip, Do you still have a set of front wings?
  10. Freestyle Motor Sports are UK experts in Caterham suspension and dampers. Contact Gary.
  11. To much toe out will also cause some "darting" at highway speeds. In moderation one might describe it as lightness or a drifting effect in the front end.
  12. My car is the first Caterham with a factory installed Zetec in the US. The engine is back as far as it can go. My cross weights ae 50 x 50. The Clam Shells would make the front very light over 110. To a point that I felt more than a little suseptable to cross winds. This photo shows the crude yet very effective splitter/large canard combo now on my nose cone. With it, the car is rock solid at 135+ with plenty of front and rear grip. One of the Birkins I run with seems to be able to beat me on the long straights. He also has a diffuser with similar HP. Maybe they do help ;-) Can't upload photo??

Lots of fun this morning at the autocross. Norm Beaver organinized a great course on a tiny lot with lots ofngravel. The event and it went off without a hitch. Fun was had by all. We even had spectators who applauded each driver as they passed by. My thanks to all for an enjoyable evening at the banquet and the autocross.

  21. Bart, Did you pay $112 and are selling them for $68? Or did you pay $224 and are selling them for $112?
  22. Bart, I have standard brakes and run 13 inch wheels. I did not realize that Caterham had different size ears.
