How about the lightest "Licensed/Taged" Seven?
  2. I was checking for a friend back then.
  3. Kodiacs site did not list the weight. If you liked Toms' he copied mine so the weight should be about the same. Yo can play catch with my wheel and tire combo. That's how light they are.
  4. I have 4 Kodiak 13x10s for sale. They are mounted with Hoosier rain tires and used only three events. As you know new ones are $456 each with a long wait. They could be yours for $2,000 but they are on hold now for another driver until June 20th. Michael D.
  5. Karen and I will be arriving Saturday afternoon. Driving the Z3 as the Seven is getting a new engine. See you all there. Michael D.
  6. It should have read 50 dollars. BTW the plastic is a bit yellowed.
  7. I have a used set I But they don't work on my 2000 Caterham. I paid %40 +S&H.

  10. I have posted photos and specs to the various T-9s here: http://www.topdocsracing.com/pdf-links This T-( is nor for sal. It has standard ratios and the correct input shaft fo a birkin.
  11. Reason, See 2000 Caterham for sale.
  12. Sorry for the delay, been busy. Answers below: I have always wanted a Seven and an FIA Cobra, I decided a few weeks ago to put the Seven up for sale. Once sold I will buy a FIA Cobra (replica) and have fun with that for a while. Once I have driven that for a while I will likely get a CSR with 260hp. While at Summit Point last Saturday my engine blew. So the car is now at Quicksilver Racengines in Frederick, MD where they a building a NEW engine for my car. I am not rebuilding the old one. The new motor will be stronger then my last one which was 220 HP. It's not like I am in a hurry or anything. I am having a New motor put in so I can continue having fun while I am waiting for a buyer. The "red" item on the front is a removable splitter which is connected to and supported by canards on the side of the nose. I added it for track use as it provides stability over 120 mph by countering the lift from the clam shells. I painted it and the roll bar red to make the car a little more visible to the ocassional car that gets in front of me. Yes. I put the wide track and the Watts on the car about five years ago. No problem with ny 15" 205 Toyo 888 street set up or my 13 x 10 x 20 road and autocross slicks.
  13. This beautiful car was the first factory Caterham Zetec in the US. The car was modified by Caterham in England to fit the Zetec and then shipped to Frank Bolton in Atlanta. Frank was the US distributor at the time. When Mr. Bolton sold the distributorship to Jon Nelson he sold the car to George Alderman of Mid-Atlantic Cateham. george then sold it to me. I replaced the stock Zetec engine with a New ZX3 motor from Ford Racing and had Mid Atlantic make the initial upgrade of cams and throttle bodies. The final and current tune and cams and all subsequent engine maintenance has be performed by Quicksilver Racengines. As of May 5th, the car is at QuickSilver Racengines receiving a New Motor. Details to follow. . Visit http://www.topdocsracing.com for details and photos.
  14. The look great. Nice job.
  15. Oops. That is another Avitar. Sorry.
  16. you do if you don't have a standard windscreen. I use modified bicycle mirrors on my half screen as seen in my Avitar.
  17. Ditto that. Lost about 15 rivits. All on the drivers side??? I guess 20,000 miles I will do it again.
  18. I simply use the Spa side mirrrs mounted to the middle screw in the windscreen mount. My center rearview is from http://www.holden.co.uk/ a great resource for all classic & vintage british car parts.
  19. Geran, I am available most evenings an occasional weekends. email me directly.
  20. All post '98 Caterhams have a framed in tunnel. They and do not require another hoop to meet SCCA D Mod regs.
  21. Reason, I am in Bethesda. Michael D.
  22. Geran, I have a 2000 Caterham DeDion with a 200 hp Zetec. The car is in Bethesda and is a daily driver/track car. Let me know if your would like a ride. Michael D,
  23. Are these the wheels that came with the car?
  24. FWIW, Caterhams come with boxed in tunnels. That is one of the items that lead to a higher cost. Folis Jones did a really nice job boxing in the tunnel on his Birkin after seeing how well my Caterham is finished off. I would suggest you contact Folis n57fj@earthlink.net I am sure he can provide photos and is usually very willing to share information with another Sevener. I agree with DeanG as to how clean your car seems to be. It must have been cared for.
  25. The stock tank can be removed and replaced with the 2 gal tank mounted in the right rear. You may also consider moving the battery down and forward on the right frame. GT40s had fuel tank on the right and left side. Has anyone ever moved the fuel cell to the passanger side? What extra safety precautions would have to be made?
