Check out the group photo over on killboy...

It's cool to see how wide some of the cars are (ahem, Mr. Ebrahimi) compared to a narrow one like mine.

But I'm really writing with a question...

WHO IS MISSING FROM THIS SHOT?

I'm trying to get a count for the journalists and don't know if my papers reflect the count.

I know of at least 7 cars NOT in this photo:

• Fred Kitch's Lotus S2

• Dick Brink's "Wine Sizzler" Birkin

• Mark Rivera's Silver/Black Locost Auto-Xer

• Heikki R-K's Silver/Black Locost

• Ed Hudson's Caterham SLR

• David Seybold's Red/Black Stalker (auto x champ)

• Walt Hoffman's Ali/Red Caterham

If I'm wrong on any of these, or you know of more that were not there, please chime in here.

I don't see Bob Drye's mega turbonium Locost either...

Oh...and mine is wide in the hips, but slender in the middle...curvacious if you will. :)

Scott Nettleship's S4 is also missing.

So that's 9 cars missing.

And I can't tell if one of the cars is Burke Ulrey's Scratch-built....anyone? anyone? Bueller?

I looked at other shots (from Tapoco) and from my recollections...AND

I don't see:

John Mott's Caterham

Ed Hudson's Superlight (Dark Green & Carbon)

Phil Anderson's Caterham (Yellow Painted)

John Thomen's Caterham

Don Freeman (Green & Yellow)

That's 14 cars missing....which means that our total LSiS for the meet was 61!!!!

Can people people confirm the names above?

A preview of the Group Photo..

Thanks to the generosity of Darryl "Killboy" Cannon (who also donated his time to come out to take the shot and ride in the bucket truck), the Club received a high-rez file of the group photo. We will be circulating that through more secure means soon — FREE TO ALL ATTENDEES AND CLUB MEMBERS! That's right, you can get it printed anyway you like.

The photo will be available in 4 forms:

A) Cars only

B) Cars only with tasteful commemorative border (1957-2007, USA7s at the Dragon, etc.)

C) Cars and people

D) Cars and people with tasteful commemorative border

Until I get that border designed (and some retouching done) here's what the shots look like:

Great job Al, and thanks Killboy!! :hurray:

I'm also missing, Al. Didn't trust my tires in the rain. Got within 2 miles of the photo site and saw cars coming at me. Don Freeman

This second round does not have Steve T.'s final blessing yet, but I'm going to be out celebrating Ava's bday tomorrow and wanted to put it out there.

All comments welcome...note that the unretouched photos will be made available...and there will be a version with people in it. PLEASE WAIT UNTIL THE FINAL FINAL FILES ARE POSTED OR RELEASED BEFORE RIGHT CLICKING TO PRINT ON YOUR OWN.

Al,

Now that is one nice looking group of 7's and boarder edging.

Might you also make a shadow outline of the cars with a number on each that collates to the owners name, make an year

Looks great. The addition of the LOTUS green and yellow grass is a nice touch.

Thanks again,
