Any Sevens nearby?

I live SW of Chicago in Montgomery, IL. Was wondering if anyone had a Seven nearby that they wouldn't mind showing me, perhaps even take me for a ride? Considering purchasing one, think they're beautiful and love the idea of a light weight, nimble car ... But want to experience one before taking the next steps. Can anyone help me out?

Doing this from memory, the forum members I am aware of in that area:

 

Gbolt - Stalker

spc_cwby - Caterham S3 chassis

rx7locost - Locost

Miatacarpc - Westfield (I think)

 

I recall there being a bunch of Stalkers out that way - at least 3.

 

Don't recall any Caterham SV around Illinois but likely would be somewhere - just not active on the forum.

if if you’re willing to make the drive, there are two very well-built Stalkers in Indy (both cars on the high-end of the quality built bell curve). One is owned by jbanker (forum name). Thank you both for the info ... Make semi annual trips to Tennessee, one tout takes me through Indy ... So that wouldn't be a terrible drive ...

The Lane Motor Museum in Nashville has several, at least one is usually on display. Usually the cars are look but don't touch, but you could ask. The ones I have seen are original 7 size.
