I own #22 and paid nearly as much for a heavily auto-crossed unit with a rotary engine that was nothing like smooth at the time. This one is one of the last made if mot the last and would have all the upgrades, and is nearly new condition. It is tempting to upgrade and a cross- country drive in a S1 would be quite comfortable. john

Very good dyno #'s for a stock Zetec. Not that much less than my SVT (hp 155, torque 143).

Mike, you of all people should know that it's not the HP or Torque that determines how fast the car is, it's the nut behind the wheel :jester:

This car feels quick, but, in general... 7's are so raw and light, that I expect it'd feel quick even with much less power. :) Lightness, especially in cars, brings joy, IMO.

The S1 is so much more "car like" than other Sevens. It looks finished, whereas other sevens look more like race cars. It looks luxurious and would make a great car for short blats or longer tours.

It also has that look that your wife won't say " You want me to ride in THAT?"

At our annual USA7S event at NJMP, the S1's have no trouble keeping up with similarly powered Caterhams and Birkins. Just saying, tho it is a bit more polished than they are, it is just as competent on the track.
