This Ruby Red, 2013 Caterham Super 7, 40th Anniversary Edition being just 1 of 40 produced in this eye catching color is for sale. A Centered Silver stripe on the bonnet shows of the cars clean lines. This particular “7” being number 22 of the original 40 produced.
I acquired the car in October 2020 and have only added 410 miles to the original 284 on the car when purchased. This amazing car has only 694 miles on it.
Car has always been adult owned, I’m the second owner, and garage kept and it shows.
Power is put out with a factory spec 1.6L Ford Sigma equipped with custom cams through the 5 speed transmission and out to the LSD equipped DeDion rear with a custom adjustable rear anti sway bar. Coil springs front and rear along with 9” disc brakes all the way around round out this cars mechanical.
Interior wise a full spread of gauges and lighted switches augment the leather dashboard with it’s intact limited edition factory badging, fully carpeted interior while the black with grey trim interior compliments the hand stitched black leather seats with grey piping. This car has a heated windscreen, multi speed wipers, full weather gear and a new uninstalled tonneau cover.  This amazing car also comes with a passive anti theft device, battery tender and an extra set of 5 brand new 14” wheels with new Avon tires.
With the car weighing in at just under 1,200 lbs. it’s like driving a go kart for adults.
Car has a clean Georgia title.
Asking $43,000.

This is an S3 rather than SV, correct?

Car is a S3, not a SV. If I had not put a deposit down on another vintage Shelby, this would already be in my garage.

This appears to be a car built by George Alderman of Mid Atlantic Caterham. I test drove this car in 2016 when it was still in his shop and I bought the other car he had, a SV with a Duratec. The great news is George builds a great car, mine has been very reliable and you can have confidence that is was professionally built. The pics are from July 2016 when the car was still "new" (my car is a 2009 kit built in 2013).
