Anyone know where I can purchase a traditional Super Seven front grill emblem?  These are typically laser-cut steel (preferably stainless), and feature the outline of a large "7" measuring about 7.5" tall and about 8" wide.  The digit is surrounded by a halo of steel, as in the image below.  Let me know if you have access to supply.  Thanks!

That logo includes the entire Caterham front grille (which I prefer to the Brunton's obstructive new grill, but is the wrong shape and size for a Brunton).  So, I would have to remove about half the grill while paying more than twice as much.  Still, a viable last-ditch option, and I thank you sincerely for presenting it.

Hi Bruce,

I purchased several of these from Mario, he is a member here and was selling them on EBay.  I am selling them for $50 plus shipping.  They are aluminum though not SS. PM me if you are interested.

Thanks - I'll save this info.  My car purchase has been pushed back at least three weeks.

Pardon me for digging up this old thread from 2021 - I'm looking for two of the Caterham "7" grill logo's, preferably (but flexible) in stainless steel.  Does anyone manufacture these here in the U.S. to avoid the new tariff?

Wow, I’ve not heard of them!  Can you share a few details?  Did you provide a file with size dimensions and which material and thickness did you choose?  Was it pretty reasonable?

Thank you so much!

Yes, I provided the EPS file attached. You get a choice of material, I chose 316. I safety wired it to my existing grille.

I'm very happy with their service.

tgentry, thank you for the file and excellent information.  I hate to ask for more, but would you be able to downsize the "7" logo to a max height of 7.75" from the 8.255"?  My grill is apparently a bit narrower than yours and I wouldn't want to take it to a belt sander as soon as I pull it out of the envelope! ;-)

Thank you,

Mark

Sorry, I got the file from someone else and don't have the software. There might be free stuff on the net to do it, or you could ask Send Cut Send.

I show the height as 7.50" and the width as 8.25".

Well, that is strange!  When I upload the file to sendcutsend.com, it shows the height at 8.255”.  Im not too worried about the width as long as it’s generally proportional.

I'd not worry about the tariff on a sub $50 part from a private seller as it is not really a car part, but a wall decoration :seeya: which is not subject to tariffs

MV8, thank you for showing me my error; I was looking at height then length.

mrmustang, I was trying to purchase two of these from Premier Wiring in the UK for about a year.  They stated every sort of reason, illness, out of stock, etc.  As soon as they had them back in stock, the tariffs were applied and I gave up on them - hence my quest to find one made in the US.  That's the point of a tariff anyway, right?  An incentive for domestic manufacturing.  Tgentry's suggestion of sendcutsend is excellent - easy, U.S. made parts and quick and inexpensive!  I bought two 416 stainless grill emblems for less than one from Premier Wiring and avoided international shipping, tariff and hassle.

I received the “7” grill emblems from SendCutSend a few days ago (I was out of town).  They turned out fantastic!  Thank you, Tgentry for the hot tip!image.thumb.jpg.db4a6d72866a6a06364d994e61e62ef8.jpg
