IamScotticus Posted April 30, 2022 Posted April 30, 2022 (edited) I measured 5/32 for Caterham panels. If you used them on a Cat, they should work for me. Edited May 1, 2022 by IamScotticus
toldfield Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Excellent response! I have a bunch of them that I hope to never need. I'll email you and see what we can work out.
fastg Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Selling tools, that is just not right. You know Murphy is an evil bastard and you will need them the week after you sell them. Never going to happen here. Graham 1

Nick OTeen Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 Yes, without the special Cleco pliers you wouldn't get very far. When you are working on, or making, panels Clecos are indispensable Amazon has a variety of sets available. 1

Nick OTeen Posted May 1, 2022 Posted May 1, 2022 (edited) One set of pliers will work with all sizes of Cleco fasteners. Edited May 1, 2022 by Nick OTeen
IamScotticus Posted May 1, 2022 Author Posted May 1, 2022 Thinking about the process of body skinning, where some seam and join filet welding is required, it's a better practice to attach all panels with Clecos, rather than rivets, in case the welding is botched beyond repair and panel replacement is required.
