It's black lacquer. The stripe is a bit of a cue ball white. I wanted to give it a bit of a vintage country road cruiser rather than a track car. We have a lot of sweet roads here in western PA. I found a local man that does leather work. He made the hood strap then a pouch mounted on the back wall between the seats and a saddle bag that hangs over the console just in front of the gear shift. Made to hold phones and sunglasses. Croc
Love the black and white result. Very nice detailing touches done to lift up the standard Caterham

I was thinking of a Mota-Lita wheel for my in progress 420. Was wondering if it mounted to the mono quick release hub or needed an adapter. Also seems a bit larger diameter than the momo. Do you have lowered floors? Any clearance issue with your legs.

Hi, thank you. I ordered the Steering wheel from Moto-lita. It's 13". It is a bit larger than the original. Once in the seat it's very comfortable. A horn plate over the center nut. The Caterham badge is just a hood badge that I glued to the horn plate. No issues with leg room and I almost never use the quick release. Speaking of that, I had the guys at Hillbank-Superformace mount the new wheel to the quick release collar while they had the car.

CBuff
Greg, That’s great. Thanks for the photos. Looks like a mark v thick rimmed 13” with the dark wood https://www.moto-lita.co.uk/steering-wheels/mark-five-wood-rim-flat/ did you just do the plain billet center cap and add the badge to that? https://www.moto-lita.co.uk/accessories/billet-cap/ I spec”d the qr momo. I would think their is a world where I could attach this to a qr boss and just swap between them with the quick release. I am still likely a year away from actually getting my hands on my car. So trying to fill the hours/days/months with over thinking everything.
