Yes Jon. 10 inch Hoosiers on 10 inch rims at all four corners. I've been told by some of the better drivers that the car is very neutral. You could go with 8 inch all around to get a little more heat in them faster. Don't know if that compromises your grip that much. I don't remember your HP level, but if you are running around 135-150 or so at the flywheel, I seem to recall the UK guys use less tire.

And you're right, that pearlesent Orange is awesome. I sat in Steve's on Sunday, it didn't seem as wide inside as yours, and the seats were Waaay too comfy. :D Can't wait for Steve to start Autoxing with us, he's been doing it for many years.

yeah, with lower power and larger diameter wheels i think i'll run 9" (225) in the rear and 8" (205) in the fornt and see if that limits my spins from oversteer. i seem to have had another spin due to understeer on sunday. I think the R comps will cover some off those faults. especially as the get traction again after getting loose. i think with too wide a front tyre it will make steering heavier that it needs to be with the lower power.

Jon, if you have a rear antirollbar, where is it set? If it's at the full forward postition you could soften it a bit by moving it to the rearward holes. Also what size front antiroll bar are you running? (What color bushing)? Tom

the front sway has black bushings. the rear sway is set to the most outer holes of the bar. closest to the front, as the bar arcs to the rear. I beleive this is the softest setting.

Auto-x'ing in the rain is the easy part. It's working your corner and shagging cones in the rain for 2 hours that is tough!

No kidding, I think I was midly hypothermic that afternoon. If it were not for Lance and Tom's good humor, I would have just laid down and died.

If you think a little rain is tough, come out to the Philly Region Winter Autox Series. The first picure is Ice and snow. Second is 10 inches of snow. Really. Not seven friendly. Tom

Mazda -

Dan and a bunch of other STU EVO/STi drivers can put down some really awesome times locally. as fun as our se7ens. I dunno. they drool at my car and i drool at their skills. perhaps theres the answer.

Martin - u prove that he se7en is not just for fun behind the wheel!

Tom - they are considering trying to put on a snowX sometime, but there is never a guarentee of any actual snow here. i'd definitely be taking teh wagon out for that, even with me wary of the current clutch.

Shagging cones was not a issue saturday. i guess i was sort of prepared after seeing the pics and video from Wet Warminster Day! I ahd my rain coat and change of shoes plus a hat. i just wished i had brought a change of socks. I made sure i had my bright yellow rain jacket because i didn't need to get run over.

Here's a video of my 3 & 4 runs side by side. It's interesting to see where I lost time or made up time by pausing the video at differnt gates. Tom

yea, he was movin all right. i could not even see where the cones were leading. i wonder what the fastest times were for that day.

oh my lord... that place looks like it's pretty high speed. I might have to trek up there next year.

that way a BBQ would be on the way home:cheers:

tom, the run on the right side of the screen looked like u were more on the throttle on the straighter sections. it did look like the run on the left was able to make it back up thru the harder turns. what were the times for both runs?
