Marking its 53rd birthday, an occasion few could have predicted, England’s tiny Caterham Cars is looking forward to a massive growth spurt in the coming years, with production increasing 50 percent and possibly more.

That one is easy for us suuthern types. Pour-sha is close to Pour, suh (sir). How about coupe versus cou-pay?

Great race car, terrible street car due to terrible streets.

Is there a sporting clientele willing to go to the track?  At present,  they're willing to play Mario Cart with at home simulators.

IMO, Cat is getting too big for a small car.

I find that the smug Porsche people who correct people who say porsh are almost-always not saying the name correctly themselves.  This cracks me up.  I personally don't give a fig how anyone pronounces it, but if you are going to demonstrate it you ought do more than add an "ah".  I usually say my Porsche is pronounced "KAYman" because I am a mid-engine snob.

 

According to the Porsche company, the name does not have a hard rhotic R.

almost bought a new one, but the vast unreliability scared me off. chose a highlander hybrid instead. Equally bad for more of the same reasons that all newer autos are.
