Quick update with what I know. 7evin and Doc Harmony got 37 on the wet skid pad. Which is a vast improvement for us. Last year we got 61st. Last year we did a .700 this year we moved up to .810 G pretty big improvement for us in our worst event. I cant speak for all 7s in the wet but Mojo was not great in the slick stuff. Hope for dry tracks this year.

7evin and Doc Harmony got 9th at Road America. Pretty impressive since that is the first time 7evin has ever driven the track and they were not allowed a walk around like we usually get. He has 1 warm up lap to get familiar with the track then pull to the starting line. The other 8 drivers in front of him are all professional racers and have run the track 100s of laps. So cheers for a job well done 7evin.

No issues with the car that I know of. I know that they are having issues with the fuel transfer system from the trailer so they have to stop more frequently to manually switch the pump on. We bought a fuel gauge that has a transfer level system that turns on the reserve pump when it gets to half a tank then turns off when full. It has an issue and isnt working. I know he hasnt had time to troubleshoot it and wont have time until lunch break tommorrow at Mid America. Hopefully that will be the only issue to work on and they can get it resolved before leaving for Texas.

Wonderful morning to start a race. We watched and wished we were going. Doc Harmony (7evin's lady) has to be nominated for the Great Wife award!

7evin took 7th in the morning session at MAM another track that he has never driven. So that is a great finish I have not heard the results from the second session yet.

MHKflyer I will take some pics at TWS of the trailer set up for ya. They dont have time to get online. I have been texting them there finishing position as they go along. I have a few supplies I need to take them tonight.

They are 12th and moving up. Racking up top 10 finishes against very stiff competition-car wise & driver wise. Keep it up guys! If the past is any guide, consistency is as important as finishing in the top 3 occasionally.

Just got back from TWS. It rained hard all day not best enviroment for us but 7evin still ran 17 in the morning which bumped him to 11th overall. They dont have the times posted yet from session 2. It was raining very hard on that session. The track was standing in water in multiple spots, 7evin was having alot of problems seeing because his helmet kept fogging up. He felt he gave up some precious seconds due to that.

We hope and pray for dry tracks the rest of the week. I think a top 8 or 10 is very possible. There are a few fast cars are having some mechanical issues. Mark Davia the overall winner for the last 4 years is having a boost controller issues which is slowing him down. The Hennessey ACR Viper is unbeleivable fast. The driver is so smooth it looks like he isnt even trying and he is beating the second place car by as much as 20 sec. Unbeleivable. He will win hands down if the car stays together for the whole event.

I have some pics will post them tommorrow.

after this morning run 7evin got 6th fastest which bumped them to 9th overall. The drags that cancelled yesterday are rescheduled today which should help us a bit. When I last talked to him he had run well in the 2nd lapping session but scores were not available yet. He could get up to 7-8th overall after today.

Side note. Kevin got gravely ill yesterday in Houston. He stopped for fuel and got a sever case of Vertigo. He was unable to stand and would vomit with the slightest movement. Luckily 2 of the other 1 lap teams came back to the rescue. They let Kevin ride in their car where he could lay down and be still and one of the guys rode with Michelle in the Ultralite to LA. He was feeling better this morning after 5-6 hours sleep. Hopefully that problem wont arise again.
