slngsht
Anyone here have the series? Where is the easiest place to rent / watch it? I've never seen it.
xflow7
Netflix. I have the 2nd disc right now. It's pretty different, I have to say, but interesting. KAR 120C only shows up during the intro reel; it's not (yet anyway) actually featured during the show.
solder_guy
KAR 120C ... it's not (yet anyway) actually featured during the show. Just wait and see .. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/wink5.gif Anyone here have the series? Where is the easiest place to rent / watch it? I've never seen it. I rented via Netflix. "The Prisoner" fan group, Six Of One, was involved with the production of the latest DVD set released this summer '06. I just might have to ask for it for Christmas! I have the three CD set of music from the series. Makes for pretty weird road tripping. Rob Mitchell solder_guy2006-10-24 15:51:
stevet
The series enjoyed a re-run last year on BBC America (along with The Avengers). All very 60's. Emma Peel is still a total babe http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/coolgleamA.gif

solder_guy
If you like The Prisoner .. then you should also check out Danger Man aka Secret Agent Man played by Patrick McGoohan also. Great cold war spy drama. Rob Mitchell

Al N.
Mazda- I'm shocked! The beginning of the show is used in an iron maiden song ("Run to the Hills", I think)..the soundtrack of our generation x youths. I actually am only familiar with it in in relation to Sevens and of course the similar sorts of shows at the time. -Al

No_6
Here is an interesting little factoid about the car: Originally, they were planning on using the Elan for the show, as that was the car on the Avengers and Lotus wanted to push it (actually, the Elan makes a guest-starring appearance in the episode 'The Girl Who Was Death.'). Whilst visiting the main Lotus dealership to get the car, McGoohan saw KAR120C, a S2 demo, and said, "that's the car." He liked the uniqueness. The car that is driven later is a S3 dressed to look like the original, as the S2 had been sold by then.
