Just got word from Kevin that he will have MOJITO ( Green Ultralite S2K ) in the show, that car is getting famous! Anyone else going? I am sure Kevin and Michelle would love to meet up.

Haven't been myself, but if its anything like the PRI show we go to each December, then yes, you'll need to prove you're "in the business"...

Yes, you do have to have some kind of automotive business to get in. I have been there many times and it is massive. You can walk for days, but the PRI Show is my favorite, especially now being in Orlando. It is more oriented to Racing instaed of all the color TVs, and 26" wheels. ;)

A writer in one of the automotive magazines recommended the SEMA show and said that if you can't find someone to get you in you aren't trying hard enough.

That's true, all you need is a business license, or tax id certificate, or a friend that can add you to his list of employees.:yesnod:

As it happens I may be there for work for 1 or 2 days. Not 100% sure yet, but pretty likely.

Edit: I had the good fortune to go to PRI once in Columbus back in 95 or 96 when I was on FSAE. That was a very cool show. On the subject of cool tradeshows, has anyone ever been to Hannover Messe in Germany? I managed to go to that one year too for work. Now *there's* a trade show. It's pretty surreal to wander around a trade show where you're surrounded by crap like giant wind turbine nacelles sitting on the trade show floor (those things are rather large!).

I can most likely get extra passes if some one in the 7's forum wants to go.

The show is beyond belief. PRI is amazing but if you can imagine it for an automobile its

at SEMA.

We were lucky enough to be invited to show Mojito at the show.

There is no way we could afford to go otherwise.

My concern is that Mojito is a race car that gets raced.... raced hard...

she is not a show car, this place is chocked full of flawless cars...

I hope we don't look like a farm tractor at a ferrari convention...

If you are interested please let me know ASAP so I can make it happen.

Cheers

yo, texas mile...did u make it there?

i've seen the 248mph supra, does Mojito have some more stats to go with this years accomplishments?

unfortunately Mojito didnt make the Texas mile. At R&G we had oil starvation while going thru the big oval causing us to lose oil pressure for a few seconds. A few seconds of no oil pressure at 8k rpm makes for alot of metal pieces in the oil. So Mojito is getting a new short block or possibly a turbo diesel to run for the X prize.

and a dry sump.....

MoPho and Xflow7 and any one else that makes it. give me a call when you get there and I'll give you my booth #.... We should also have free energy drinks if you would like one come by.

Cheers
